中國(guó)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者在短篇小說(shuō)創(chuàng)作過(guò)程中的聲音構(gòu)建

近幾十年,聲音這一話題在二語(yǔ)寫作領(lǐng)域日益受到重視。在相關(guān)研究中,對(duì)話性聲音已被廣泛接受使用。而實(shí)證研究中,聲音在非母語(yǔ)的英語(yǔ)教學(xué)環(huán)境的研究相對(duì)較少,特別是聲音在短篇小說(shuō)和課堂方面的研究匱乏。因此,本研究嘗試豐富二語(yǔ)寫作聲音在這些方面的研究,利用Canagarajah的聲音分析模型(2014),探索中國(guó)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者在短篇小說(shuō)寫作課堂中的聲音構(gòu)建。本研究采用案例分析方法。研究地點(diǎn)是中國(guó)華南地區(qū)一所外語(yǔ)外貿(mào)大學(xué)的英語(yǔ)短篇小說(shuō)寫作課堂。研究者擔(dān)任三個(gè)寫作班的助教,跟蹤觀察學(xué)生短篇小說(shuō)寫作過(guò)程,為期五周,從中選擇了三名學(xué)生進(jìn)行分析研究。在這五周里,研究者除了觀察課堂教學(xué),還品讀學(xué)生的短篇小說(shuō)稿,參與學(xué)生答疑和反饋,以及與教師一起在課程結(jié)束后采訪本研究關(guān)注的參與者。本研究發(fā)現(xiàn),學(xué)生能夠通過(guò)與讀者協(xié)商,在短篇小說(shuō)創(chuàng)作中成功塑造人物,構(gòu)建良好的聲音效果。在塑造人物時(shí),學(xué)生主要使用了敘述視角、情節(jié)結(jié)構(gòu)和展示技巧這些策略,使得作者聲音能夠通過(guò)小說(shuō)人物的言行傳達(dá)讀者。短篇小說(shuō)中文本的聲音效果是作者和讀者紛繁互動(dòng)的結(jié)果。雙方皆受到文本之外的身份要素影響,即Canagarajah模型(2014)中的身份、角色、主...
