本論文屬于翻譯實踐報告。翻譯材料選自美國2018年最新出版的作品《康復》（The Recovering）的第一章和第二章,作者是萊絲莉·杰米森。杰米森回憶記錄了自己在耶魯大學、愛荷華創(chuàng)意寫作班學習時期通過酗酒尋找創(chuàng)作靈感的經歷。小說從酗酒這一角度出發(fā),既記述描寫了一些天才酒鬼作家們的生平以及他們的主要作品。這些天才因各種人生境遇沉迷酒精不能自拔。酒精成就了他們的輝煌,也毀了他們的人生。又講述了自己多年來與酒精抗爭的過程,以及在此過程中對人生的思考和對自己創(chuàng)作的探究。從與酒結緣到第一次戒酒,然后開始陷入反復不斷的酗酒戒酒怪圈,作者一直試圖尋找一種有效的方法來讓自己“康復”。本論文以功能對等理論作為指導理論。功能對等理論（Functional Equivalence Theory）是美國翻譯大師尤金·A·奈達（Eugene A Nida）于上世紀60年代提出的翻譯理論。在研究翻譯的過程中,奈達先提出形式對等和功能對等兩個概念。接著于1969年,他又提出功能對等理論。該理論要求譯者在翻譯過程中不應片面地追求文字表面的死板對應,而要在兩種語言間達成功能上的對等。本次翻譯實踐中筆者以功能對等理論...
