文化視域下中非學(xué)生英語寫作差異的研究

  英語寫作中句法復(fù)雜度和語篇連貫性與語言學(xué)習(xí)者整體的語言水平有著緊密聯(lián)系。本文結(jié)合定量與定性分析研究探討了中非學(xué)生英語寫作中的語篇連貫差異和句法復(fù)雜度差異,從文化視域的角度分析了大學(xué)英語教學(xué)和學(xué)習(xí)者學(xué)習(xí)動機(jī)對中非學(xué)生英語寫作的影響。本文的研究對象分別是15名非洲非英語專業(yè)研究生和15名中國非英語專業(yè)研究生。兩組研究對象完成了本研究的兩次問卷調(diào)查與一次英語議論文寫作。此外,研究對15名中國研究對象及6名非洲研究對象進(jìn)行了訪談;贑hiang(1999,2003)的連貫性評分量表對研究樣本進(jìn)行語篇連貫度分析;運(yùn)用陸小飛(2010)開發(fā)的二語句法復(fù)雜度分析器(L2SCA)對研究樣本的語篇復(fù)雜度進(jìn)行測量分析;通過SPSS16.0對研究中收集到的數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行了獨(dú)立樣本T檢驗(yàn)和皮爾遜相關(guān)分析。研究結(jié)果表明,非洲組文本與中國組文本在語篇連貫性上無顯著性差異;非洲組文本與中國組文本在T單位平均長度(MLT)和T單位復(fù)雜比率(C/T)兩項(xiàng)上呈顯著性差異;從文化角度分析大學(xué)英語教學(xué)和學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)動機(jī)的差異發(fā)現(xiàn):非洲學(xué)校英語教學(xué)與中國學(xué)校英語教學(xué)在教學(xué)方法、寫作要求、寫作頻率、英語試卷題型、英語課內(nèi)及課外學(xué)習(xí)六項(xiàng)上...
