本報告是基于譯者翻譯《國際商法與環(huán)境》的實踐寫作而成的。這本書的作者是理查德·謝弗、貝弗利·厄爾及菲利伯特·阿戈斯蒂。在翻譯過程當(dāng)中,譯者覺察文中有許多法律和商務(wù)專業(yè)術(shù)語,且長句頗多,另外書中還蘊含一些跨學(xué)科專業(yè)知識,這無疑對譯者的知識貯備和翻譯水平提出了巨大挑戰(zhàn)。譯者經(jīng)過翻閱大量學(xué)術(shù)典籍、法律詞典、數(shù)據(jù)庫和其他互聯(lián)網(wǎng)資源,并在指導(dǎo)老師的幫助下一一克服了困難。本報告分為四章。第一章中,譯者主要闡述了該翻譯任務(wù)的背景知識,并詳盡剖析了整個文本。此外,譯者也依照文本特征提出了相應(yīng)的翻譯策略。在第二章中,譯者分別闡述了譯前準備、任務(wù)安排和譯文審校。第三章為案例分析,即對翻譯項目過程中遇到的難點一一進行了詳細分析。案例分析分為兩個部分:第一部分,譯者從詞匯層面來討論選取合適的詞匯;第二部分,譯者從句子的層面分析如何拆解重組長難句和固定句式的翻譯方法。第四章是譯者對整個翻譯任務(wù)的回顧和總結(jié)。譯者希望通過對該項目的翻譯與分析,能夠為法律著作翻譯人員提供參考意見,同時促進法律翻譯的發(fā)展。
