成都文化是蜀文化的代表,也是中國文化的有機(jī)組成部分。盡管成都文化是中國的地方文化,但是隨著全球化的不斷深入,它已越來越為外部世界所知�！冻啥冀窒镏尽肥且槐就ㄟ^介紹成都街巷來介紹成都?xì)v史文化的著作,介紹了發(fā)生在這些街巷的歷史事件和人物事跡,具有較為豐富的文化內(nèi)涵。中西方語言和文化存在差異,用英語準(zhǔn)確傳譯出本書的文化內(nèi)涵、讓它更能以英語國家讀者接受的方式傳遞是一個重要的課題。功能對等理論強(qiáng)調(diào)讀者反應(yīng),重在實現(xiàn)兩種語言間的對等,從這一理論的視域下翻譯這部著作可以較好地完成這一重要課題。鑒于此,本翻譯報告以功能對等理論為指導(dǎo)進(jìn)行了翻譯實踐。在翻譯實踐中,譯者將理論與實踐相結(jié)合,以讀者能理解和接受的方式翻譯文本、傳遞成都文化。譯者從詞匯、句法和語篇三個層面,對文本進(jìn)行了具體的分析。通過案例分析,主要闡述了在功能對等理論指導(dǎo)下的漢英翻譯中,語言的交際功能是可以實現(xiàn)的。本翻譯報告呈現(xiàn)了《成都街巷志》（節(jié)選）翻譯實踐的全過程,希望翻譯實踐所得對未來成都文化乃至巴蜀文化的翻譯研究能有一定的參考價值。
