本翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告研究了筆者于2018年11月為民用航空器適航審定技術(shù)與管理研究中心翻譯的咨詢通告AC 21-46A-Technical Standard Order Program的前四個(gè)章節(jié),是對(duì)翻譯實(shí)踐的反思和總結(jié)。本報(bào)告以“理解、表達(dá)、變通”為框架分析實(shí)踐中的案例,以嚴(yán)復(fù)提出的“信、達(dá)、雅”為翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)探討譯文的選擇與精進(jìn),將其與咨詢通告等規(guī)范類文件的翻譯相結(jié)合,全文以案例分析為主體,先后介紹了翻譯實(shí)踐背景、過程和遇到的問題及解決方案,分析了如何借助上下文和平行文本進(jìn)行理解,在表達(dá)階段如何處理原文中的人稱代詞、時(shí)間狀語及后置定語,以及通過省譯和句法轉(zhuǎn)換來實(shí)現(xiàn)變通等。本報(bào)告為民航領(lǐng)域規(guī)范性文本翻譯提供了一個(gè)較新的視角,是將“信、達(dá)、雅”翻譯原則用于指導(dǎo)此類文本翻譯的有益嘗試,為咨詢通告等文件的翻譯提供了可資借鑒的策略和方法。
