本報(bào)告選自大衛(wèi)·比塞爾所著的《旅途生活:通勤如何改變城市生活》第一章。該章以作者在碼頭的經(jīng)歷為開頭,介紹了培養(yǎng)通勤技巧的時(shí)間、如何培養(yǎng)通勤技巧。譯者翻譯此書的目的就是向有通勤困難的人們提供有效幫助。譯者還列舉了大量實(shí)例,希望能為本類型文本的翻譯提供借鑒。根據(jù)彼得·紐馬克的文本類型理論,該文本屬于信息型文本。本報(bào)告列舉了翻譯中遇到的主要三種困難:長(zhǎng)句中的定語(yǔ)或狀語(yǔ)修飾語(yǔ),含平行成分的對(duì)話,以及含多種時(shí)態(tài)的句子。譯者以卡特福德的翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論為指導(dǎo),通過(guò)分析原文、查閱資料,采取增譯、分譯等方法完成了翻譯項(xiàng)目。本報(bào)告分為五部分。第一部分是對(duì)翻譯項(xiàng)目背景、意義以及報(bào)告結(jié)構(gòu)的簡(jiǎn)要介紹。第二部分則是介紹作者并分析原文。第三部分描述了翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論及其在報(bào)告中的運(yùn)用。第四部分列舉了翻譯中的困難及對(duì)應(yīng)的解決辦法。第五部分則回顧了在翻譯項(xiàng)目中的感悟,總結(jié)了還待解決的問(wèn)題。
