在日新月異的全球化時(shí)代,中國的政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、社會(huì)等各方面正經(jīng)歷著前所未有的變革。作為反映社會(huì)變化的一面鏡子,漢語新聞中的新詞層出不窮。為了促進(jìn)更加有效的跨文化交際,漢語新聞新詞的英譯研究就變得十分迫切也很有必要。漢語新聞中的新詞在國際傳播中發(fā)揮著越來越重要的作用。為了使目的語讀者盡可能地達(dá)到國內(nèi)新聞讀者理解原文的程度,本研究以國內(nèi)外十四個(gè)新聞媒體上搜集到的新聞新詞為語料,以釋意論為理論指導(dǎo),從譯者的角度出發(fā),分析新聞新詞英譯是如何體現(xiàn)釋意過程和釋意原則的,并進(jìn)一步總結(jié)新聞新詞英譯的釋意過程和釋意原則分析中所體現(xiàn)的釋意翻譯策略。通過文本分析,本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)譯者在理解、脫離源語語言外殼、重新表達(dá)的釋意過程中將原文所表達(dá)的意義傳遞給讀者。首先,譯者將對(duì)源語語言成分和隱喻內(nèi)容的理解與自己的認(rèn)知補(bǔ)充相結(jié)合,其次譯者從對(duì)源語的刪除、概括、建構(gòu)三個(gè)步驟中把握說話人表達(dá)的意圖和情感,脫離源語的語言外殼。最后,在重新表達(dá)源語意義后,譯者要確保譯文與原文內(nèi)容的一致性和形式的對(duì)等性。此外,本研究還發(fā)現(xiàn)譯者應(yīng)盡可能地確保目的語讀者達(dá)到與源語作者的認(rèn)知對(duì)等和情感對(duì)等,以獲得意義對(duì)等,并且確保譯文要忠實(shí)于源語作者、目的...
