為加深對(duì)澳大利亞文化的了解,服務(wù)對(duì)澳政策與外交研究,譯者選擇《澳大利亞外交外貿(mào)部2016——2017年度工作報(bào)告》（下文簡(jiǎn)稱“the ARADFAT for2016-17”）作為該翻譯實(shí)踐的內(nèi)容。該翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告基于此撰寫完成,包括四章:翻譯任務(wù)概述、翻譯過程描述、翻譯案例分析和翻譯實(shí)踐總結(jié),呈現(xiàn)了譯者分析文本特征,以翻譯目的論為指導(dǎo)進(jìn)行翻譯實(shí)踐的過程。譯者將達(dá)成譯文的專業(yè)性、準(zhǔn)確性、流暢性,可讀性作為目標(biāo),對(duì)年度報(bào)告中的術(shù)語、一詞多義、介詞短語、非謂語動(dòng)詞結(jié)構(gòu),定語從句以及英漢表達(dá)差異性方面的翻譯困難進(jìn)行了重點(diǎn)研究,通過案例,論述了運(yùn)用文獻(xiàn)法、轉(zhuǎn)換法、增譯法、省譯法、包孕法和明確指代等翻譯方法解決翻譯困難的過程。在目的原則、連貫原則和忠誠(chéng)原則的指導(dǎo)下,譯者協(xié)調(diào)了譯文與原文本和讀者之間的關(guān)系,將原文本的目的與讀者的期待在譯文中最大限度地進(jìn)行了統(tǒng)一,達(dá)成了既定的翻譯目標(biāo),積累了翻譯經(jīng)驗(yàn),為其他譯者翻譯類似文本提供了有益的借鑒。
