本文是對(duì)文化學(xué)者伊塔馬?埃文-佐哈爾所著《文化研究論文集》節(jié)選部分進(jìn)行的漢譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。作為一部論文合集,在語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)上,該文本充斥著大量的名詞化結(jié)構(gòu)。雖然英語(yǔ)和漢語(yǔ)皆有名詞化的表達(dá)方式,但是,由于英漢兩種語(yǔ)言在詞匯語(yǔ)法以及深層思維上都具有諸多不同,英語(yǔ)中的名詞化現(xiàn)象比漢語(yǔ)名詞化更加豐富。此外,英漢的習(xí)慣性表達(dá)也有較多差異,例如英語(yǔ)偏重抽象靜態(tài)且客觀的表達(dá),而漢語(yǔ)習(xí)慣使用動(dòng)詞,語(yǔ)言相對(duì)動(dòng)態(tài)而具體等。以上現(xiàn)象增加了文本漢譯的困難程度。另一方面,原文在功能上屬于信息型文本,且更注重文本內(nèi)容的傳遞,因此在翻譯上需要將內(nèi)容明晰化。本文基于系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)與認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的理論框架,探究名詞化現(xiàn)象的深層認(rèn)知機(jī)制與各類(lèi)功能,解釋名詞化在詞匯語(yǔ)法層與語(yǔ)義層的體現(xiàn)與轉(zhuǎn)化方式,并在此基礎(chǔ)上對(duì)英語(yǔ)名詞化結(jié)構(gòu)的漢譯提出合適的翻譯策略與方法,以期提高譯者對(duì)名詞化的認(rèn)知與翻譯水平。
