一直以來,自我意象以及英語課堂行為都是英語教學(xué)研究的方向。一方面,作為影響英語教和學(xué)的重要心理因素,自我意象廣泛地受到人們的關(guān)注;同時,英語課堂行為又深刻地反映當(dāng)代高中生學(xué)習(xí)英語的狀態(tài)。近年來,國內(nèi)外基于自我意象與英語課堂行為關(guān)系的相關(guān)研究十分缺乏。因此,在本研究中,通過對于高中生自我意象和其英語課堂行為的關(guān)系研究,以求為高中生自我意象以及英語課堂行為的改善帶來一些建議,同時也為今后的相關(guān)研究提供一些啟示。在本研究中,將采用問卷調(diào)查和訪談的手段,并以人本主義理論為理論基礎(chǔ),以安徽省淮南市兩所普通高中的268名高中生為研究的調(diào)查對象,采用自我意象問卷和英語課堂行為兩套問卷進(jìn)行研究。其中,自我意象問卷是在Daniel Offer(1962)設(shè)計的青少年自我意象問卷的基礎(chǔ)之上制作而成的。該問卷包含了五個維度,分別是:心理自我,社會自我,性別自我,家庭自我和應(yīng)對自我。高中生英語課堂研究采用問卷調(diào)查和訪談等手段,以安徽省淮南市兩所普通高中的268名高中生為研究對象,旨在回答以下三個問題:(1)高中生自我意象的總體狀況如何?(2)高中生英語課堂行為的總體狀況如何?(3)高中生自我意象與英語課堂行為之間的相關(guān)性如何?研究發(fā)現(xiàn):(1)高中生自我意象處于中等水平,其中社會自我和家庭自我水平最高,而心理自我水平最低。(2)高中生英語課堂行為水平較低。其中,爭強(qiáng)好勝表現(xiàn)水平最低,社會交往表現(xiàn)最佳。(3)高中生的自我意象與英語課堂行為之間顯著正相關(guān),但相關(guān)性不高。基于研究的發(fā)現(xiàn),論文就提高高中生自我意象水平以及他們的英語課堂行為表現(xiàn)提出了建議。
