【摘要】：作為美國第一位華人哲學(xué)家,陳榮捷畢生專注于向英語世界弘揚中國哲學(xué)。他在翻譯中國哲學(xué)文獻時恪守"有詞必釋,有名必傳,有引必溯其源"的原則,將自己對中國哲學(xué)的精準理解與翻譯融為一體,立足比較哲學(xué),強調(diào)處于兩種異質(zhì)文化的哲學(xué)是兩種完全不同的體系,竭力避免用西方哲學(xué)的理論框架去理解中國哲學(xué)。本文著意探討陳榮捷向世界傳播中國哲學(xué)典籍的比較哲學(xué)路徑,分析其譯研結(jié)合的哲學(xué)典籍外譯路徑對當(dāng)下中國學(xué)術(shù)話語海外構(gòu)建的啟示意義。
[Abstract]:As the first Chinese philosopher in the United States, Chen Rongjie devoted his life to promoting Chinese philosophy to the English-speaking world. In translating Chinese philosophical documents, he adheres to the principle of "words must be interpreted, famous must be handed down, and references must be traced back to their origin". He integrates his accurate understanding of Chinese philosophy with translation. Based on comparative philosophy, he emphasizes that philosophy in two heterogeneous cultures is two completely different systems, and tries his best to avoid understanding Chinese philosophy within the theoretical framework of western philosophy. The purpose of this paper is to explore the comparative philosophical path of Chen Rongjie's dissemination of Chinese philosophical classics to the world, and to analyze the enlightening significance of Chen Rongjie's translation and research combination of philosophical classics to the overseas construction of Chinese academic discourse at present.
