【摘要】：1861年是英國駐華使館在北京設(shè)館第一年,英國醫(yī)生芮尼(D.F.Rennie)當(dāng)時(shí)在駐華使館工作,并寫有日記,著有《英國駐華使館設(shè)館第一年間的北京和北京人》(Peking and the Pekingese during the First Year of the British Embassy at Peking)一書。本文為此書第10-11章的漢譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。芮尼在日記里記錄了當(dāng)時(shí)他在北京的生活與工作經(jīng)歷。原文由廣西師范大學(xué)出版,為“十一五”國家重點(diǎn)圖書出版規(guī)劃項(xiàng)目之一,翻譯本書將為對北京的歷史研究提供相應(yīng)參考。本報(bào)告由五個(gè)章節(jié)組成。第一章為翻譯項(xiàng)目介紹。第二章為翻譯過程,主要包括文本分析、重難點(diǎn)分析、查閱平行文本和其他相關(guān)資料、譯中過程及譯后審校。第三章闡述了紐馬克與文本類型相關(guān)的翻譯理論,包括文本類型理論與語義翻譯和交際翻譯這兩種翻譯方法。第四章是案例研究。第五章是結(jié)論部分�；诒说谩ぜ~馬克提出的語義翻譯及交際翻譯,本報(bào)告通過本翻譯項(xiàng)目的案例分析,展示了譯者在語義翻譯及交際翻譯指導(dǎo)下的翻譯實(shí)踐過程,探討了譯者使用的具體翻譯技巧。根據(jù)紐馬克的文本類型理論,語義翻譯適用于表達(dá)型文本,交際翻譯適用于信息型文本與召喚型文本。本翻譯項(xiàng)目中,原文本兼?zhèn)浔磉_(dá)型文本和信息型文本的特點(diǎn),為了達(dá)到準(zhǔn)確、忠實(shí)、可讀性強(qiáng)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn),譯者采取了語義翻譯和交際翻譯兩種翻譯方法,使用了不同的翻譯技巧,屬于語義翻譯的技巧有準(zhǔn)確翻譯專有名詞、還原作者真情實(shí)感、明確代詞所指等,屬于交際翻譯的技巧有選擇合適詞語、增添或省略詞語、調(diào)整語序及變換被動(dòng)語態(tài)等。希望本翻譯項(xiàng)目及其實(shí)踐報(bào)告能夠?yàn)楸本┩砬鍤v史研究以及英漢翻譯研究提供一定的參考作用。
[Abstract]:In 1861, it was the first year of the British Embassy in Beijing. D.F.Rennie, a British doctor, worked at the Embassy in China and wrote a diary and a book entitled "Beijing and Beijingers during the first year of the British Embassy in China." (Peking and the Pekingese during the First Year of the British Embassy at Peking). This paper is a report on the practice of Chinese translation in chapters 10-11 of this book. Renee recorded in his diary his life and work experience in Beijing at that time. The original text is published by Guangxi normal University, which is one of the national key book publishing planning projects in the Eleventh five-year Plan. The translation of this book will provide a corresponding reference for the historical study of Beijing. The present report consists of five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction of translation items. The second chapter is the translation process, including text analysis, key and difficult analysis, consulting parallel texts and other related materials, the process of translation and post-revision. The third chapter expounds Newmark's translation theory related to text type, including text type theory and semantic translation and communicative translation. The fourth chapter is a case study. The fifth chapter is the conclusion part. Based on the semantic translation and communicative translation proposed by Peter Newmark, this report shows the translator's translation practice under the guidance of semantic translation and communicative translation through a case study of this translation project, and discusses the specific translation skills used by translators. According to Newmark's text type theory, semantic translation is suitable for expressive text, and communicative translation is suitable for informative text and summoning text. In this translation project, the original text has the characteristics of both expressive text and informative text. In order to achieve the criteria of accuracy, faithfulness and readability, the translator adopts two translation methods: semantic translation and communicative translation, and uses different translation skills. The skills of semantic translation include accurate translation of proper nouns, reduction of the author's true feelings, clear pronoun reference and so on. Add or omit words, adjust word order and change passive voice. It is hoped that this translation project and its practical report can provide some reference for the study of the history of Beijing in the late Qing Dynasty and the study of English-Chinese translation.
