中國大學(xué)生英語敘事語篇中的主題引入與延續(xù):一項歷時研究

【摘要】:本文通過歷時跟蹤研究,考察了中國大學(xué)生在英語書面語敘事語篇中主題延續(xù)性的指稱標記,檢驗其分布是否遵循跨語言主題延續(xù)性等級。結(jié)果表明:1)中國英語學(xué)習(xí)者的指稱選擇基本符合主題延續(xù)性等級,語境區(qū)分普遍存在;2)隨著二語水平的提高,說話者對語境區(qū)分越來越敏感,但說話者的指稱編碼中還存在一些與跨語言主題延續(xù)性等級不相符合的語例。通過具體分析,筆者提出指稱選擇除了受語篇語境、二語水平的影響外,還與說話者對可及性的主觀認識相關(guān),這種主觀認識又受到認知壓力的影響。
[Abstract]:Based on the diachronic tracking study, this paper examines the referential markers of topic continuity in English written language narrative discourse, and tests whether their distribution follows the level of cross-linguistic topic continuity. The results show that: 1) the referential choice of Chinese English learners basically accords with the level of topic continuity, and contextual discrimination is common; 2) with the improvement of second language level, the speaker is more and more sensitive to contextual discrimination, but there are still some language examples in the speaker's referential coding that are not consistent with the cross-linguistic subject continuity level. Through the specific analysis, the author puts forward that the referential choice is not only affected by the context of the text and the level of the second language, but also related to the speaker's subjective understanding of accessibility, which is also affected by cognitive pressure.
