【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告,翻譯原文選自瑪麗·岡特所著《來(lái)華一婦人》一書的第六章至第八章。本書用詞平實(shí)細(xì)膩,層層推進(jìn),引人入勝,第六章至第八章旨在介紹老北京的著名景點(diǎn)及風(fēng)土人情,通過詳細(xì)描述作者自己賞戲、游覽長(zhǎng)城及明十三陵、參觀兩個(gè)慈善機(jī)構(gòu)的經(jīng)歷,反映出民國(guó)初期北京的社會(huì)環(huán)境,交通運(yùn)輸情況,以及人民的生活狀態(tài),教育背景等現(xiàn)狀。本次翻譯實(shí)踐,筆者以金杽的等效論作為理論指導(dǎo)。等效論將翻譯的目標(biāo)設(shè)定為追求語(yǔ)言功能上的對(duì)等,而非語(yǔ)言形式上的對(duì)等,即譯文讀者與原文讀者能同樣順利地獲得相同或基本相同的信息。筆者結(jié)合相關(guān)案例,從主要精神、具體事實(shí)和意境氣氛三大角度,探討了人名、地名、景點(diǎn)名、交通工具等詞匯的翻譯,以及被動(dòng)句、定語(yǔ)從句等其他長(zhǎng)句的翻譯。在翻譯的過程中,筆者根據(jù)游記類文本的特點(diǎn),對(duì)不同類型的詞匯和句型采用了不同的翻譯手法,以尋求譯文表達(dá)的流暢與準(zhǔn)確,從而實(shí)現(xiàn)等效。在此次翻譯實(shí)踐后,筆者對(duì)如何全面、多角度的了解中國(guó)歷史文化有了新的認(rèn)識(shí),筆者認(rèn)為除了從本國(guó)著作中汲取養(yǎng)分,閱讀來(lái)華游歷后外國(guó)人的游記無(wú)疑也是種較好的途徑,但目前學(xué)術(shù)界圍繞游記類作品展開的翻譯研究為數(shù)甚少。筆者希望本次翻譯實(shí)踐及報(bào)告能為今后此類游記翻譯的研究起到一些借鑒及參考價(jià)值。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report selected from chapters 6 to 8 of Mary Gunter's A woman to China. Chapters 6 to 8 are intended to introduce the famous scenic spots and customs of the old Beijing, and visit the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs of Ming Dynasty by describing in detail the author's own play, visit the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs of Ming Dynasty. The experience of visiting the two charities reflects the present situation of Beijing's social environment, transportation, people's living conditions, educational background and so on in the early period of the Republic of China. In this translation practice, the author takes Jin Shi's equivalence theory as the theoretical guidance. Equivalence theory sets the goal of translation as the pursuit of linguistic equivalence rather than linguistic formal equivalence, that is, the target reader and the original reader can obtain the same or basically the same information equally smoothly. Combining with relevant cases, the author discusses the translation of person name, place name, scene name, transportation and other long sentences, such as passive sentences and attributive clauses, from the three angles of main spirit, concrete facts and mood atmosphere, as well as the translation of words such as person name, place name, spot name, transportation means and so on. In the process of translation, according to the characteristics of travel texts, the author adopts different translation techniques to different types of words and sentence patterns, in order to seek the fluency and accuracy of the translation expression, thus achieving equivalence. After this translation practice, the author has a new understanding of how to understand Chinese history and culture in a comprehensive and multi-angle way. In addition to drawing nutrients from his own works, it is undoubtedly a better way to read the travel notes of foreigners after coming to China. However, there are very few studies on translation of travel works in academic circles at present. The author hopes that this translation practice and report can provide some reference and reference value for the study of this kind of travel notes translation in the future.
