【摘要】：本報(bào)告擬對紐馬克翻譯理論指導(dǎo)下的某建設(shè)工程合同英譯漢項(xiàng)目完成過程進(jìn)行思考和總結(jié)。翻譯原文為中國某建設(shè)工程公司與國外某政府簽訂的工程承包合同類文本,兼具科技文本、法律文本和經(jīng)貿(mào)文本的普遍特征,用詞專業(yè)、準(zhǔn)確、簡潔,多用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞,句式多為被動(dòng)句和復(fù)雜長句。本報(bào)告主要討論紐馬克文本類型翻譯理論對國際商務(wù)合同中的工程合同類文本漢譯的指導(dǎo)作用。紐馬克的文本類型理論根據(jù)文本功能的不同,將文本分為表達(dá)型文本、信息型文本和呼喚型文本三大類,并相應(yīng)提出了語義翻譯和交際翻譯兩種翻譯方法。筆者首先從原文的科技文本特征、法律文本特征以及經(jīng)貿(mào)文本特征三個(gè)方面對原文的文本特征全面分析。在紐馬克文本類型理論指導(dǎo)下,確定了以交際翻譯為主的翻譯策略,力求在準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)源文本信息的基礎(chǔ)上,在形式從根本上順從目的語的使用習(xí)慣。報(bào)告還重點(diǎn)通過案例分析,討論了在具體的英漢語言轉(zhuǎn)換過程中,根據(jù)商務(wù)合同文本翻譯在用詞、造句兩大方面異同的基礎(chǔ)上,通過靈活運(yùn)用直譯、省譯等一系列翻譯技巧,實(shí)現(xiàn)了準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)原文信息,以目的語為導(dǎo)向的譯文標(biāo)準(zhǔn),使譯文具有高度可讀性。報(bào)告由以下五個(gè)部分組成:第一部分主要包括項(xiàng)目簡介、任務(wù)要求和報(bào)告結(jié)構(gòu);第二部分簡要說明了翻譯過程和與商務(wù)合同文本有關(guān)的翻譯研究概況綜述;第三部分主要陳述了紐馬克文本類型理論的主要內(nèi)容,對照分析了中英文商務(wù)合同文本的文本特征分析;第四部分從詞匯、句式多個(gè)角度列舉典型案例,充分展示譯者如何靈活運(yùn)用多種翻譯技巧。第五部分總結(jié)歸納了紐馬克翻譯理論對商務(wù)合同文本的指導(dǎo)作用,翻譯過程中獲得的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和存在的問題。
[Abstract]:Under the guidance of Newmark's translation theory, this report is intended to reflect on and summarize the completion process of a construction contract English-Chinese translation project. The original text of a project contract signed between a construction engineering company in China and a foreign government has the common features of scientific and technical text, legal text and economic and trade text, with professional, accurate, succinct and multi-modal verbs. Most sentences are passive sentences and complex long sentences. This paper mainly discusses the guiding effect of Newmark's text type translation theory on the Chinese translation of engineering contracts in international commercial contracts. According to the different functions of the text, Newmark's text type theory divides the text into three categories: expressive text, informational text and calling text, and puts forward two translation methods: semantic translation and communicative translation. Firstly, the author analyzes the text features of the original text from three aspects: the scientific and technological text, the legal text and the economic and trade text. Under the guidance of Newmark's text typology theory, a communicative translation strategy is established, in order to convey the source text information accurately and to conform to the usage of target language in form. The report also focuses on a case study to discuss a series of translation techniques, such as literal translation and saving translation, on the basis of the similarities and differences in terms of words and sentences, according to the business contract text translation, in the specific process of English-Chinese language conversion. The target language-oriented translation standard is realized to convey the original information accurately and make the translation highly readable. The report consists of the following five parts: the first part mainly includes the project profile, the task requirements and the report structure, the second part briefly describes the translation process and the overview of translation studies related to the text of the commercial contract; The third part mainly describes the main contents of Newmark's text type theory and analyzes the text features of the Chinese and English business contract texts. The fourth part enumerates typical cases from lexical and syntactic angles to demonstrate how the translator can use various translation techniques flexibly. The fifth part summarizes the guiding role of Newmark's translation theory in business contract texts, the experience gained and the existing problems in the process of translation.
