【摘要】：隨著中國(guó)全球化進(jìn)程的加快,越來(lái)越多的產(chǎn)品從國(guó)外涌入中國(guó),各類英文說(shuō)明書(shū)文本英譯中的需求也隨之增加。雖然英文說(shuō)明書(shū)的特點(diǎn)同中文說(shuō)明書(shū)類似,如語(yǔ)言規(guī)范,表達(dá)簡(jiǎn)練、專業(yè)性強(qiáng)等。但是將英文說(shuō)明書(shū)文本譯為中文仍難度較大,尤其是技術(shù)類的英文說(shuō)明書(shū),因?yàn)橐环矫嫠婕昂芏鄬I(yè)知識(shí),這對(duì)譯者無(wú)疑是一個(gè)挑戰(zhàn);另一方面,目前國(guó)內(nèi)外尚缺乏相關(guān)可供參考的資料。鑒于上述情況,作者以自己參與的英文說(shuō)明書(shū)文本——四川現(xiàn)代汽車公司發(fā)布的《技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)》漢譯項(xiàng)目為例,對(duì)技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)文本的英譯中進(jìn)行了探討。四川現(xiàn)代汽車公司《技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)》英譯中的翻譯源于該公司引進(jìn)的兩款新型商用車,它們將于2016年下線進(jìn)入國(guó)內(nèi)市場(chǎng)。本報(bào)告作者承擔(dān)了引進(jìn)汽車的各類零配件技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)的翻譯工作。本翻譯項(xiàng)目共包括49個(gè)英文《技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)》。翻譯過(guò)程中作者遇到了諸多問(wèn)題和挑戰(zhàn),其中最主要的兩個(gè)問(wèn)題是術(shù)語(yǔ)和祈使句翻譯。對(duì)此,作者首先研究了中英術(shù)語(yǔ)和祈使句的各自特點(diǎn),在細(xì)讀《技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)》的基礎(chǔ)上,重點(diǎn)分析了該文本中專業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ)與祈使句的特點(diǎn),并以奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論為理論框架,選定了釋義、音譯和增詞等翻譯技巧進(jìn)行了較為成功的翻譯。最后作者針對(duì)如何翻譯此類技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)文本及科技類文本提出了幾點(diǎn)建議。四川現(xiàn)代汽車公司《技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)》英譯中項(xiàng)目報(bào)告共分為五個(gè)章節(jié)。第一章為項(xiàng)目介紹,第二章為翻譯過(guò)程介紹,第三章敘述了項(xiàng)目中遇到的主要困難和采取的翻譯技巧,第四章為翻譯項(xiàng)目評(píng)估,最后一章對(duì)類似技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)的翻譯提出了幾點(diǎn)建議。本報(bào)告旨在摸索總結(jié)一些較好的英譯中方法,以提高技術(shù)說(shuō)明書(shū)文本及科技類文本的翻譯質(zhì)量,希望能對(duì)正在或?qū)⒁獜氖孪嚓P(guān)翻譯項(xiàng)目的譯員有一定的借鑒。
[Abstract]:With the acceleration of China's globalization, more and more products flow into China from abroad. Although the English specification is similar to the Chinese specification, such as language specification, concise, professional and so on. However, it is still difficult to translate the English manual into Chinese, especially the technical English specification, because on the one hand it involves a lot of professional knowledge, which is undoubtedly a challenge to the translator; On the other hand, there is still a lack of relevant reference materials at home and abroad. In view of the above situation, the author takes the English version of the specification published by Sichuan Hyundai Automobile Company as an example to discuss the translation of the technical specification into English. The translation into English of Sichuan Hyundai Motor Company's Technical instructions stems from the introduction of two new types of commercial vehicles, which are due to be launched into the domestic market in 2016. The author of this report is responsible for the translation of technical specifications for all kinds of auto parts. This translation project includes 49 English specifications. In the process of translation, the author has encountered many problems and challenges, two of which are the translation of terms and imperative sentences. In this connection, the author first studies the respective characteristics of Chinese and English terminology and imperative sentences. On the basis of a detailed reading of the Technical description, the author focuses on the characteristics of the technical terms and imperative sentences in this text, and takes Nida's functional equivalence theory as the theoretical framework. Translation techniques such as interpretation, transliteration and addition have been selected for successful translation. Finally, the author puts forward some suggestions on how to translate the technical specifications and scientific texts. Sichuan Hyundai Automobile Company's Technical description is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the project introduction, the second chapter is the translation process introduction, the third chapter describes the main difficulties encountered in the project and the translation skills adopted, and the fourth chapter describes the translation project evaluation. In the last chapter, some suggestions are put forward for the translation of similar technical specifications. The purpose of this report is to explore and summarize some better translation methods in order to improve the translation quality of technical specifications and scientific texts, in the hope that they can be used for reference by translators who are or will be engaged in relevant translation projects.
