【摘要】：本翻譯實踐報告所選翻譯材料是The Gendered Society(即《性別化的社會》)的第八章和第九章�！缎詣e化的社會》一書是美國社會學家邁克爾·基梅爾(Michael Kimmel)所撰寫的學術(shù)著作,目前沒有漢語譯本。筆者翻譯的部分主要是關(guān)于男女在宗教中地位的差別,以及女性在工作場所受到的一系列不平等待遇。本實踐報告的理論基礎(chǔ)是彼得·紐馬克的文本類型理論�！缎詣e化的社會》一書以信息型文本為主、表達型文本為輔,所采取的翻譯策略是紐馬克的交際翻譯和語義翻譯。本報告共五部分,第一部分介紹此次翻譯項目,包括原文本介紹;第二部分講述翻譯過程;第三部分介紹文本類型理論、語義翻譯和交際翻譯;第四部分結(jié)合理論知識分析翻譯文本中的實例,包括四個層面:詞匯、句子、語篇和文化,使用了詞義引申、詞性轉(zhuǎn)換、增譯、倒譯、分譯以及加注釋或解釋性話語的方法;第五部分,對本次翻譯實踐進行了總結(jié),在文本類型理論指導下,翻譯社會學著作是可行的。此翻譯實踐的意義在于為其他學者研究二戰(zhàn)后美國社會中存在的男女不平等提供佐證,也可以為國內(nèi)學者研究工作場所中女性問題提供對比研究。
[Abstract]:The translation materials selected in this translation practice report are chapters 8 and 9 of The Gendered Society (, the Society of Genderization, which is an academic work written by American sociologist Michael Kimmel (Michael Kimmel). There is no Chinese translation at present. Part of the translation is about the difference between men and women in religion and a series of unequal treatment of women in the workplace. The theoretical basis of this practice report is Peter Newmark's text typology theory. The book A Genderized Society is mainly informative text supplemented by expressive text. The translation strategies adopted are Newmark's communicative translation and semantic translation. This report consists of five parts: the first part introduces the translation project, including the original text introduction; the second part describes the translation process; the third part introduces the text type theory, semantic translation and communicative translation; The fourth part analyzes the examples of the translated text with theoretical knowledge, including four levels: vocabulary, sentence, discourse and culture, using the methods of word meaning extension, part of speech conversion, incremental translation, translation inversion, translation division and the addition of annotated or explanatory discourse; In the fifth part, the author summarizes the translation practice and concludes that it is feasible to translate sociological works under the guidance of text typology. The significance of this translation practice is to provide evidence for other scholars to study the inequality between men and women in American society after World War II, as well as to provide a comparative study for domestic scholars to study women's problems in the workplace.
