【摘要】：隨著國際文化交流的日益頻繁,作為各國間文化交流與傳播的重要手段,翻譯的重要性也日益突出。小說是文學(xué)作品中一個比較重要的體裁,它在促進(jìn)世界各國文化交流中扮演著非常重要的角色。因此,小說翻譯一直備受關(guān)注。本翻譯材料選自英國19世紀(jì)著名作家查爾斯·約翰·赫芬姆·狄更斯的作品《年輕紳士素描》,共約一萬個單詞。狄更斯是一位以反映現(xiàn)實生活見長的作家,他的作品描繪了包羅萬象的社會圖景,貫徹懲惡揚(yáng)善的人道主義精神,塑造出眾多令人難忘的人物形象。主要作品有《匹克威克外傳》、《霧都孤兒》、《老古玩店》、《艱難時世》、《我們共同的朋友》等。但是至今《年輕紳士素描》還沒有中文譯本,所以對他的這部作品進(jìn)行翻譯。本翻譯報告旨在以功能對等理論對《年輕紳士素描》節(jié)選章節(jié)的漢譯進(jìn)行相應(yīng)的指導(dǎo),以最接近原文的自然對等翻譯使譯文讀者對譯文的反應(yīng)最大程度地接近原文讀者對原文所產(chǎn)生的反應(yīng)。本翻譯實踐報告包括五部分:第一部分,任務(wù)描述;第二部分,理論基礎(chǔ);第三部分,翻譯過程;第四部分,案例分析,舉例分別從詞匯、句子兩個層面對譯文作深入分析,詞的翻譯方面的方法有“變抽象為具體”、“增詞譯法”、“省詞譯法”以及“變換詞性”四種,句子翻譯方面的方法有“換序”、“斷句”、“轉(zhuǎn)態(tài)譯法”三種;第五部分,對此次翻譯實踐的反思與總結(jié)。
[Abstract]:With the increasing frequency of international cultural exchanges, translation, as an important means of cultural exchange and communication between countries, is becoming increasingly important. Fiction is a relatively important genre in literary works, which plays a very important role in promoting the cultural exchange between countries all over the world. Therefore, the translation of novels has always been the focus of attention. This translation is based on a sketch of young gentleman by Charles John Herfham Dickens, a famous British writer in the 19th century, with a total of about 10,000 words. Dickens is a writer who reflects the real life. His works depict an all-encompassing social picture, carry out the humanitarianism spirit of punishing evil, and create many unforgettable figures. Major works include Picwick Legend, Orphan Twist, Old Antiquities, hard Times, our Common friend, etc. But there is no Chinese translation of Young Gentlemen's Sketch, so this work is translated. The purpose of this translation report is to guide the Chinese translation of excerpts from Sketch of Young Gentlemen based on functional equivalence theory. The natural equivalent translation which is the closest to the original text makes the reader's response to the target text as close as possible to the original text. This translation practice report consists of five parts: part one, task description; part two, theoretical basis; part three, translation process; part four, case study. There are four methods in the translation of words: "changing abstract to concrete", "adding words", "saving words" and "changing parts of speech", and the methods of sentence translation include "changing order", "breaking sentence", "translating state"; The reflection and summary of this translation practice.
