【摘要】：本篇翻譯實(shí)踐原文摘自《一個(gè)留辮子穿馬褂的商業(yè)先鋒的旅行記》第四章及第五章,文章內(nèi)容由英國人湯瑪士·桑維爾·庫柏所著,美國人李國慶經(jīng)整理后主編。第四章主要描寫主人公在重慶的見聞,第五章則主要敘述主人公從重慶去成都一路上的經(jīng)歷。兩章內(nèi)容可以分為若干個(gè)小故事,共同介紹了中國清朝時(shí)期傳教事業(yè)的狀況以及西方傳教士在中國的傳教活動,而留辮子穿馬褂的穿戴體現(xiàn)了當(dāng)時(shí)中國的滿清風(fēng)格。在此次翻譯實(shí)踐中,筆者以奈達(dá)功能對等理論為本篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告的主要指導(dǎo),從詞,句,段及篇章等多層次展開對相應(yīng)理論指導(dǎo)下的筆者譯文的針對性分析,并在第四章“案例分析”中結(jié)合相應(yīng)的實(shí)例以加深對功能對等理論的理解與應(yīng)用。同時(shí)為了在保留西方歷史文化元素的同時(shí)又能讓本國讀者更好地理解原文意思,筆者在翻譯過程中結(jié)合直譯,意譯等多種翻譯方法進(jìn)行翻譯,力求再現(xiàn)原文風(fēng)格。最后,筆者談?wù)摿俗约涸诜g過程中的收獲,并客觀地分析了自己翻譯的不足之處及今后在翻譯道路上的努力方向。
[Abstract]:The translation practice is taken from A Business Pioneer in braided mandarin. Chapters 4 and 5, by Thomas Thornville Cooper of England, edited by Li Guoqing, an American. The fourth chapter mainly describes the protagonist's experience in Chongqing, and the fifth chapter mainly narrates the hero's journey from Chongqing to Chengdu. The two chapters can be divided into a number of small stories, the common introduction of the Chinese Qing Dynasty missionary cause and Western missionaries in China missionary activities, and wearing braids in the manqing style reflected the wear. In this translation practice, the author takes Nida's functional equivalence theory as the main guidance of this translation practice report, and analyzes the author's target translation under the guidance of the corresponding theory from words, sentences, paragraphs and texts. In Chapter 4, case Analysis, the author combines the corresponding examples to deepen the understanding and application of functional equivalence theory. At the same time, in order to preserve the historical and cultural elements of the West, and at the same time to better understand the meaning of the original text, the author tries to reproduce the original style by combining various translation methods, such as literal translation, free translation and so on. Finally, the author discusses his own achievements in the process of translation, and objectively analyzes the shortcomings of his translation and the direction of his efforts in the future.
