【摘要】：本文以英國(guó)外長(zhǎng)菲利普·哈蒙德(Philip Hammond)第70屆聯(lián)大演講為語(yǔ)料,通過(guò)話語(yǔ)修辭分析,展示英國(guó)外長(zhǎng)如何構(gòu)建英國(guó)國(guó)家形象。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),他巧妙地運(yùn)用了亞里士多德修辭理論(訴諸人格、訴諸情感、訴諸邏輯)成功塑造了英國(guó)是"國(guó)際組織的建設(shè)者、人類(lèi)福祉的貢獻(xiàn)者和國(guó)際正義的維護(hù)者"的國(guó)家形象。
[Abstract]:Based on the speech of British Foreign Minister Philip Hammond (Philip Hammond) 70th General Assembly, this paper shows how the British Foreign Minister constructs Britain's national image through rhetorical analysis. The study found that his clever use of Aristotle's rhetoric theory (appeal to personality, appeal to emotion, appeal to logic) succeeded in shaping Britain as "the builder of international organizations," National image as a contributor to human well-being and a defender of international justice.
