【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告。原文節(jié)選自《瑪雅》(The Maya)中第十章的內(nèi)容,原書主要作者是邁克爾·韋,此外還有斯蒂芬·休斯頓、邁克爾·韋在耶魯大學(xué)的學(xué)生以及一些瑪雅文字和文化專家參與編寫�，斞盼拿魇侵忻乐蕃斞湃说奈拿鳌Ｒ云湎笮挝淖譃槁劽乔案鐐惒紩r期美洲唯一一套發(fā)達的文字體系,此外其藝術(shù)、建筑、算數(shù)、天文和立法體系方面也讓瑪雅文明聞名世界。作為世界上唯一一個誕生于熱帶叢林而不是大河流域的古代文明,再加上奇跡般的消失,其發(fā)展和衰亡都充滿了神秘色彩,吸引著世人的關(guān)注。本篇報告的主要內(nèi)容分四部分,第一、翻譯項目介紹,包括項目的背景、目標、意義等。其主要的背景意義還是在于對瑪雅文化交流傳播起到的促進作用。第二、原作背景介紹,包括作者簡介、主要內(nèi)容介紹、原文的語言特征和原文的翻譯價值等。本翻譯報告中的原文主要介紹的是永久的瑪雅以及瑪雅遺跡介紹。第三、翻譯難點、翻譯的指導(dǎo)理論、翻譯方法。此翻譯項目中的難點主要在于長句的解讀與翻譯,而對此作者采用的是目的論的翻譯理論,主要運用轉(zhuǎn)換、省略等方法來解決這一主要難點。第四部分是對翻譯項目的總結(jié),找出從中得到的經(jīng)驗教訓(xùn)以及待解決的問題。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report. Excerpted from Chapter 10 of the Maya, the lead author of the book was Michael Weiss, along with Stephen Houston, Michael Wei's Yale students, and a number of Mayan script and cultural experts. The Mayan civilization was the Mayan civilization of Central America. Famous for its hieroglyphics-the only developed writing system in the pre-Columbian America, its art, architecture, arithmetic, astronomy, and legislative system also made the Mayan civilization famous all over the world. As the only ancient civilization born in the tropical jungle and not in the river basin, the development and decline of the civilization are full of mystery and attract the attention of the world. The main content of this report is divided into four parts: first, the introduction of translation projects, including the background, objectives, significance and so on. Its main background significance still lies in the promotion function to the Mayan culture communication. Second, the background of the original, including the introduction of the author, the main content, the language features of the original and the translation value of the original. The original text of this translation mainly introduces the permanent Maya and Mayan relics. Third, translation difficulties, translation guidance theory, translation methods. The main difficulty in this translation project lies in the interpretation and translation of long sentences, and the author adopts Skopos translation theory to solve this main difficulty by means of conversion and ellipsis. The fourth part is a summary of translation projects, find out the lessons learned and problems to be solved.
