【摘要】：科技英語一般指在自然科學(xué)和工程技術(shù)方面的科學(xué)著作、論文、教科書、科技報(bào)告和學(xué)術(shù)講演中所使用的英語。隨著科技的發(fā)展與全球經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化的逐步深入,科技英語越來越彰顯出其重要性,加強(qiáng)對(duì)科技英語特點(diǎn)的認(rèn)識(shí)以及提高科技英語的翻譯技巧必然成為翻譯工作的一項(xiàng)重要任務(wù)。本文為一篇科技英語材料漢譯的實(shí)踐報(bào)告,主要以此次所做的科技類英語翻譯實(shí)踐為例,即對(duì)Children’s Language Disorders一書的翻譯實(shí)踐為例,作者總結(jié)了科技英語文本的特點(diǎn),如,大量的專業(yè)術(shù)語,大量以It開頭的句子,多使用被動(dòng)語態(tài),以及使用許多從句和長句。本次翻譯實(shí)踐以目的論,尤其是目的論的三原則,即目的原則,連貫原則,忠實(shí)原則作為本次翻譯的理論指導(dǎo),本次翻譯旨在為目的語讀者提供通俗易懂的翻譯文本,在此目的之上總結(jié)了一些翻譯策略。本文正文由五個(gè)部分組成。首先引言部分闡述了本文的研究背景和研究意義,從整體上介紹了本文的研究方法和研究步驟。并且還對(duì)翻譯文本的內(nèi)容做了簡單的介紹。第一章文獻(xiàn)綜述,在這一章中作者闡述了目的論這一翻譯理論,并著重關(guān)注了目的論的三原則。第二章科技英語文本闡述了科技英語的定義,科技英語的分類和科技英語的特點(diǎn),例如大量使用專業(yè)術(shù)語,含有it的句子,多使用被動(dòng)語態(tài)以及多用長句和從句。第三章翻譯過程詳細(xì)闡述了翻譯的過程,即,譯前準(zhǔn)備,翻譯進(jìn)行中和譯后審校階段。第四章翻譯策略闡述了在翻譯實(shí)踐過程中用到的翻譯方法和翻譯技巧。第五章是對(duì)本論文的總結(jié)。
[Abstract]:English for science and technology generally refers to the English language used in scientific works, papers, textbooks, scientific reports, and academic lectures in natural science and engineering. With the development of science and technology and the gradual deepening of the integration of global economy, EST is becoming more and more important. It is inevitable that enhancing the understanding of the characteristics of EST and improving the translation skills of EST will become an important task in translation work. This paper is a practical report on the translation of sci-tech English materials into Chinese. Taking the translation practice of Children's Language Disorders as an example, the author summarizes the features of EST texts, such as, Lots of technical terms, lots of sentences starting with it, a lot of passive voice, and many clauses and long sentences. In this translation practice, Skopos, especially the three principles of Skopos, namely Skopos principle, coherence principle and faithfulness principle, are taken as the theoretical guidance of this translation. The purpose of this translation is to provide the target language readers with easy-to-understand translation texts. On this basis, some translation strategies are summarized. The text consists of five parts. The first part of the introduction describes the research background and significance of this paper, the overall introduction of the research methods and research steps. The content of the translated text is also briefly introduced. The first chapter is a literature review in which the author expounds Skopos translation theory and focuses on the three principles of Skopos theory. The second chapter expounds the definition of EST, the classification of EST and the characteristics of EST, such as the extensive use of technical terms, the use of it sentences, the use of passive voice, and the use of long sentences and clauses. Chapter three describes the process of translation in detail, that is, pre-translation preparation, translation process and post-translation revision. Chapter four discusses the translation methods and techniques used in translation practice. The fifth chapter is the summary of this paper.
