【摘要】：少數(shù)民族典籍英譯涉及民族語(yǔ)、漢語(yǔ)、英語(yǔ)之間的轉(zhuǎn)換。這三種語(yǔ)言在文化和思維等方面的差異使得民族典籍的翻譯難免產(chǎn)生損失。翻譯損失涉及諸多方面,尤其是在審美層面,主要表現(xiàn)在修辭和音韻等方面。以土家族《擺手歌》英譯本為例,對(duì)其在音韻和修辭兩方面的審美特征及其在翻譯中可能出現(xiàn)的審美損失進(jìn)行剖析,并探討英譯本中的補(bǔ)償翻譯策略對(duì)原文審美特征的保留和再現(xiàn)。
[Abstract]:The translation of minority books into English involves the conversion of ethnic languages, Chinese and English. The differences between the three languages in culture and thinking make the translation of national classics inevitably lose. Translation loss involves many aspects, especially at the aesthetic level, mainly in rhetoric and rhyme. Taking the English translation of Tujia "waving songs" as an example, this paper analyzes its aesthetic characteristics in both phonological and rhetorical aspects and its possible aesthetic losses in translation. It also discusses the retention and reproduction of the aesthetic features of the original text by the compensatory translation strategy in the English translation.
