【摘要】：本篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告的完成基于《英國(guó)駐華使館設(shè)館第一年間的北京和北京人》一書(shū)。本書(shū)作者為英國(guó)醫(yī)生芮尼,于1865—1866年期間任英國(guó)駐華使館二等參贊。他以日記的形式,記錄下在中國(guó)的所見(jiàn)所聞。筆者在翻譯該文本的基礎(chǔ)上完成了本次翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。根據(jù)翻譯任務(wù)安排,筆者主要負(fù)責(zé)翻譯第三章和第四章,全文約1.5萬(wàn)字。第三章描寫(xiě)的是4月1日到20日的所見(jiàn)所聞,包括王府布局,會(huì)見(jiàn)親王,軍隊(duì)操練,使館敲詐事件和雍和宮所聞等。第四章描寫(xiě)的是4月21日至30日的事件,包括參觀俄國(guó)墓園,傷兵問(wèn)題的處理,西山一游,斬首事件和參觀“八大處”等�？傮w而言,這兩章主要反映了當(dāng)時(shí)北京城的政治背景,社會(huì)生活,地理環(huán)境。報(bào)告介紹了本次翻譯實(shí)踐的指導(dǎo)理論—生態(tài)翻譯學(xué)理論,該理論是清華大學(xué)教授胡庚申基于達(dá)爾文進(jìn)化論提出的,其核心是“翻譯適應(yīng)選擇論”,翻譯原則是多維度的適應(yīng)和適應(yīng)性轉(zhuǎn)換,翻譯方法是“三維轉(zhuǎn)換”。在該理論的指導(dǎo)下,譯者分別從生態(tài)翻譯學(xué)的語(yǔ)言維、文化維、交際維三個(gè)角度,對(duì)翻譯任務(wù)中的詞匯、句子以及涉及的文化等作出了詳細(xì)分析。本篇報(bào)告將生態(tài)翻譯理論這一新的研究視角應(yīng)用于游記類文本翻譯,是一次有意義的嘗試。在本次翻譯實(shí)踐中,譯者通過(guò)比較自然生態(tài)與翻譯生態(tài),將適應(yīng)與選擇原理運(yùn)用到字、詞、句和篇章的翻譯中,將原文的生態(tài)環(huán)境再現(xiàn)到了譯文中。本篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告的目的在于探索游記文本翻譯的策略和方法,希望對(duì)后來(lái)的學(xué)者研究此類文獻(xiàn)的翻譯提供一定的幫助。
[Abstract]:This translation report is based on the first year of the British Embassy in Beijing and the people of Beijing. The writer was a British doctor, Renee, and was second Counsellor of the British Embassy in China from 1865 to 1866. In the form of a diary, he recorded what he had seen and heard in China. The author has completed the translation practice report on the basis of the translation of the text. According to the arrangement of translation tasks, the author is mainly responsible for the translation of chapters 3 and 4. The full text is about 15000 words. The third chapter describes what we saw and heard from April 1 to 20, including the layout of the royal palace, the meeting with the prince, military drill, embassy extortion and Yonghegong Lamasery. The fourth chapter describes the events of April 21 to 30, including visiting the Russian cemetery, dealing with the problem of wounded soldiers, visiting the western mountains, beheading and visiting the "eight major places". In general, these two chapters mainly reflect the political background, social life and geographical environment of Beijing at that time. The report introduces the guiding theory of translation practice, ecological translation theory, which was put forward by Hu Gengshen, professor of Tsinghua University, based on Darwin's theory of evolution. The principle of translation is multi-dimensional adaptation and adaptive transformation, and the method of translation is three-dimensional transformation. Under the guidance of this theory, the translator makes a detailed analysis of the vocabulary, sentences and the culture involved in the translation task from the perspectives of linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension. It is a meaningful attempt to apply the new perspective of ecological translation theory to the translation of travel notes. In this translation practice, by comparing the natural ecology with the translation ecology, the translator applies the principle of adaptation and selection to the translation of words, words, sentences and texts, and reproduces the ecological environment of the original into the target text. The purpose of this translation practice report is to explore the strategies and methods of text translation of travel notes, and to provide some help for later scholars to study the translation of this kind of literature.
