劍橋商務(wù)英語測試與全國國際商務(wù)英語測試閱讀理解試題質(zhì)量分析

【摘要】:隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的進(jìn)一步發(fā)展,商務(wù)英語學(xué)科的建設(shè)和商務(wù)英語人才的培養(yǎng)的重要性日益凸顯。由此,商務(wù)英語測試在衡量受試者商務(wù)英語能力方面發(fā)揮著及其重要的作用。劍橋商務(wù)英語測試是由英國劍橋大學(xué)考試委員會舉辦的用于衡量非英語國家考生商務(wù)英語能力的水平測試。全國國際商務(wù)英語測試是由國家商務(wù)部中國國際貿(mào)易學(xué)會組織的用于衡量考生商務(wù)英語能力的水平測試。本文通過對兩種長期在中國并存的針對測試者商務(wù)英語能力的測試的閱讀理解部分試題的質(zhì)量進(jìn)行分析,指出各自存在的缺陷,并對編寫商務(wù)英語閱讀理解測試提出意見,以提高商務(wù)英語閱讀理解試題的質(zhì)量。本文從信度、效度、難度、區(qū)分度四個方面分析二者閱讀理解部分試題的質(zhì)量,通過隨機(jī)抽取的方式選取一份BEC和一份CNBECT真題對湖北工業(yè)大學(xué)商務(wù)英語專業(yè)的一個自然班級進(jìn)行測試,分析兩套測試閱讀理解部分試題的結(jié)果。本研究的信度分析選擇半分信度,計算信度系數(shù),檢驗考題的內(nèi)部一致性。效度分析主要測量兩項測試的題目是否有效地測試了所要考的內(nèi)容,主要針對測試的表面效度、內(nèi)容效度和構(gòu)念效度。難度分析則通過二值計分題目難度計算出二者試題的難度,區(qū)分度分析在于根據(jù)二者高分組及低分組通過率來獲得各自的區(qū)分度。并根據(jù)以上四個方面的分析判斷兩套閱讀理解試題的質(zhì)量。分析結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn)劍橋商務(wù)英語測試和全國國際商務(wù)英語測試的閱讀理解部分的試題均具備良好的信度和效度,且二者都具有較高的質(zhì)量。根據(jù)難度和區(qū)分度分析,二者均達(dá)到了水平測試所具備的要求。但是,二者的試題都應(yīng)進(jìn)一步提高,出題人應(yīng)當(dāng)注意文本選擇及試題的多樣性。通過研究,本文還對商務(wù)英語閱讀理解試題的設(shè)計提出了一些意見。商務(wù)英語閱讀理解試題應(yīng)包括兩個方面:一是語言能力;二是基本的商務(wù)知識。具體來說,閱讀試題應(yīng)注意以下問題:首先,在篇章的選擇上,文本類型應(yīng)更加多樣化。第二,確保篇章和試題的真實性;第三,試題的類型應(yīng)當(dāng)更加豐富,通過不同類型的試題測試受試者更加全面的商務(wù)英語能力。
[Abstract]:With the further development of economic globalization, the construction of business English and the cultivation of business English talents are becoming more and more important. Therefore, business English test plays an important role in measuring the subjects' business English competence. The Cambridge Business English Test is a proficiency test conducted by the University of Cambridge examination Committee to measure the business English proficiency of candidates from non-English speaking countries. The National International Business English Test is a proficiency test organized by the China International Trade Association of the State Ministry of Commerce to measure candidates' ability in business English. This paper analyzes the quality of the reading comprehension part of two kinds of reading comprehension tests for the business English proficiency of the testers in China for a long time, points out their respective defects, and puts forward some suggestions on the preparation of the business English reading comprehension tests. In order to improve the quality of business English reading comprehension test. This paper analyzes the quality of the two reading comprehension questions from four aspects: reliability, validity, difficulty and distinction. A natural class of business English major in Hubei University of Technology was tested by random selection of a BEC and a CNBECT question, and the results of two sets of reading comprehension tests were analyzed. The reliability analysis of this study selects the half-component reliability, calculates the reliability coefficient, and verifies the internal consistency of the test questions. Validity analysis mainly measures whether the subjects of the two tests are effective in testing the content of the test, mainly aimed at the surface validity, content validity and structural validity of the test. On the other hand, the difficulty of the two test questions is calculated by the difficulty of the binary score problem. The distinguishing degree analysis is based on the high score group and the low pass rate of the two groups. And according to the above four aspects of the analysis of the two sets of reading comprehension test quality. The results show that both the Cambridge Business English Test and the National Business English Test have good reliability and validity, and both of them have high quality. According to the analysis of degree of difficulty and differentiation, both of them meet the requirements of the level test. However, both the questions should be further improved, the issuer should pay attention to the choice of text and the diversity of the questions. Through the research, this paper also puts forward some suggestions on the design of business English reading comprehension test. The business English reading comprehension test should include two aspects: first, language ability; second, basic business knowledge. To be specific, we should pay attention to the following questions: first, the text types should be more diversified in the choice of text. Second, to ensure the authenticity of the text and the test questions; third, the types of questions should be more abundant, through different types of questions to test the subjects more comprehensive business English skills.
