【摘要】：許淵沖是我國著名的翻譯理論家和實踐家,他將畢生精力投入在翻譯工作中,譯著等身。從翻譯實踐來說,許淵沖堪稱中國翻譯界的“勞�！�,他在國內外出版了中、英、法文譯作六十余本,耄耋之年依舊每天堅持翻譯工作。作為一個翻譯實踐者,許淵沖無疑是成功的。他是亞洲首位獲得國際翻譯界最高獎項之一的“北極光”杰出文學翻譯獎的譯者。1994年,英國企鵝出版公司出版了許淵沖英譯的《中國不朽詩三百首》,使他的譯作走向世界,得到國際社會的認可。許淵沖的成就不僅僅停留在翻譯實踐上,他還是一位優(yōu)秀的翻譯理論家�；谄湄S富的文學翻譯實踐,他提出了一套完整詳盡的文學翻譯理論體系,該體系博大精深,包括本體論、認識論、方法論和目的論。本文研究就是該理論體系中的方法論。許淵沖先生的方法論結合了藝術和科學的范疇,總的概括下來有:優(yōu)化論、發(fā)揮譯語優(yōu)勢論,以創(chuàng)補失論,競賽論,超導論和克隆論。因許先生的翻譯方法論豐富多樣,各有千秋,無法在一篇論文中全部進行深入研究,故筆者選取其中最為著名,也受到最多爭議的以創(chuàng)補失論和優(yōu)化論為本文的研究重點,通過實例分析,以期對許淵沖先生的翻譯方法論有更深的了解,從而更好地指導翻譯實踐。本文選取許淵沖先生的英文專著——《中詩英韻探勝》為研究文本,采用對比、描寫、分析等研究方法,對其中的翻譯技巧進行全面關照,從而論證許淵沖是如何在他的翻譯實踐中應用其翻譯理論的。論文第一部分簡單介紹了許淵沖先生的翻譯方法理論體系以及研究其翻譯方法論的重要意義。論文第二部分回顧了前人對許淵沖的翻譯理論和翻譯作品的研究情況。論文第三部分結合具體的實例,論述許淵沖的“以創(chuàng)補失論”在翻譯過程中的應用,以及通過這樣的方法如何達到“三美”的標準。論文第四部分則結合具體實例,深入探討了優(yōu)化論所具體涵蓋的內容,以及優(yōu)化論在翻譯中的應用。最后,本文得出結論,許淵沖先生的翻譯方法論是對中國傳統翻譯理論的繼承和發(fā)展,不僅具有很強的可操作性,而且對于翻譯實踐具有良好的指導作用,值得后人借鑒和學習。
[Abstract]:Xu Yuanchong is a famous translation theorist and practitioner in China. In terms of translation practice, Xu Yuanchong is regarded as a "model worker" in the field of Chinese translation. He has published more than 60 Chinese, English and French translations at home and abroad, and has continued his translation work every day in his eighties and eighties years. As a translation practitioner, Xu Yuanchong is undoubtedly a success. He was the first translator in Asia to receive one of the highest awards in international translation. In 1994, British Penguin Publishing Company published Xu Yuanchong's "300 immortal Chinese Poems", which led to his translation into the world. Be recognized by the international community. Xu Yuanchong's achievement is not only in translation practice, he is also an excellent translation theorist. Based on his rich literary translation practice, he puts forward a complete and detailed theoretical system of literary translation, which includes ontology, epistemology, methodology and Skopos theory. The research in this paper is the methodology in the theoretical system. Xu Yuanchong's methodology combines the categories of art and science. In general, there are optimization theory, advantage theory of target language, theory of creation and compensation, theory of competition, super introduction and theory of cloning. Because Mr. Xu's methodology of translation is rich and varied, he can not do all of his in-depth research in a single paper. Therefore, the author chooses the most famous and controversial theories of creation and compensation and optimization as the focus of this thesis. Through the analysis of examples, the author hopes to have a deeper understanding of Xu Yuanchong's translation methodology and guide translation practice better. This paper selects Xu Yuanchong's English monograph, "A search for Chinese Poetry and English rhyme", as the research text, and uses comparative, descriptive, analytical and other research methods to give comprehensive attention to the translation techniques. Then it demonstrates how Xu Yuanchong applies his translation theory in his translation practice. The first part of the thesis briefly introduces the theoretical system of Xu Yuanchong's translation methods and the significance of studying his translation methodology. The second part reviews the previous studies on Xu Yuanchong's translation theory and translation works. The third part of this paper discusses the application of Xu Yuanchong's "the Theory of making up for mistakes" in the process of translation and how to reach the standard of "three beauties" through such a method. In the fourth part, we discuss the content of optimization theory and the application of optimization theory in translation. Finally, the thesis concludes that Xu Yuanchong's translation methodology is an inheritance and development of Chinese traditional translation theory, which is not only operable, but also instructive to translation practice. It is worth learning and learning from later generations.
