【摘要】：隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的快速發(fā)展,文化交流的日益頻繁,越來越多的第三文化孩子出現(xiàn)在社會(huì)中,這引起了人們的高度關(guān)注。第三文化孩子指的是那些在成長(zhǎng)過程中有很長(zhǎng)一段時(shí)間生活在父母護(hù)照國(guó)文化環(huán)境之外的孩子。在某種程度上,因大多數(shù)第三文化孩子擁有跨文化交際能力以及開闊的世界觀,他們?cè)趪?guó)際文化交流以及改變世界格局方面發(fā)揮著非常重要的作用,正如社會(huì)學(xué)家泰德·沃德所說：“第三文化孩子是未來世界的模范公民�！彪S著越來越多的中國(guó)人,尤其是孩子因教育計(jì)劃或父母的職業(yè)需求被送往國(guó)外,現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)涌現(xiàn)出了很多海外華人,他們中的大多數(shù)人都有著第三文化經(jīng)歷,因此中國(guó)的第三文化孩子了解自身以及被他人了解已經(jīng)變得越來越重要了。目前,像美國(guó)和日本等國(guó)在第三文化孩子方面有大量的相關(guān)研究,而在中國(guó)只有少量介紹第三文化孩子的書,相關(guān)的中文平行文本也很匱乏,這并不能全面深入地反映第三文化孩子的生活。因此,將這本全面呈現(xiàn)第三文化孩子生活的書譯為中文顯得尤為重要。本論文包括兩部分。第一部分是約15000字的翻譯實(shí)踐。原文本(第六章至第九章)節(jié)選自大衛(wèi)·波洛克和魯斯·范·雷肯合著的《第三文化孩子：多元文化環(huán)境中的成長(zhǎng)(修訂版)》。本次翻譯實(shí)踐將會(huì)使中國(guó)讀者更容易了解第三文化孩子以及他們對(duì)世界產(chǎn)生的影響,進(jìn)而為第三文化孩子的相關(guān)研究提供參考。第二部分是以翻譯實(shí)踐為基礎(chǔ)的翻譯報(bào)告。它主要包括四個(gè)章節(jié)。第一章主要介紹了翻譯項(xiàng)目的背景、理論依據(jù)、目的和意義；第二章介紹了原文本的作者、翻譯內(nèi)容以及語(yǔ)言特色；第三章通過案例分析總結(jié)了翻譯過程中遇到的問題以及運(yùn)用的翻譯方法,在奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論的基礎(chǔ)上,譯者主要采用意譯,同時(shí)在實(shí)踐中運(yùn)用了一些具體的翻譯方法,如轉(zhuǎn)化法、正反譯法、增譯法、分譯法和重組法；第四章總結(jié)了翻譯過程中獲得的經(jīng)驗(yàn)以及存在的問題�？傊�,翻譯實(shí)踐使譯者更好地了解了翻譯活動(dòng)并豐富了翻譯實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)。同時(shí),譯文將有助于中國(guó)讀者更多地了解第三文化孩子并能夠?yàn)榈谌幕⒆拥南嚓P(guān)研究提供新的視角和參考。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of economy and the increasing frequency of cultural exchange, more and more children of the third culture appear in the society, which has aroused people's high attention. Third-culture children refer to those who grew up living outside the culture of their parents' passport countries for a long time. To some extent, because most third-culture children have the ability to communicate across cultures and have a broad worldview, they play a very important role in international cultural exchanges and in changing the world landscape. As sociologist Ted Ward put it, "the third-culture child is the model citizen of the future world." As more and more Chinese people, especially their children, are sent abroad because of educational programs or the professional needs of their parents, many overseas Chinese have emerged, most of whom have a third cultural experience. Therefore, it has become increasingly important for Chinese third-culture children to know themselves and to be known by others. At present, countries such as the United States and Japan have a large number of relevant studies on third-culture children, but in China there are only a small number of books on children of the third culture, and there are also very few parallel texts in Chinese. This does not fully reflect the life of third-culture children. Therefore, it is particularly important to translate this book, which presents the life of children in the third culture, into Chinese. This thesis consists of two parts. The first part is about 15000 words translation practice. The original text (chapters 6 to 9). Excerpts from David Pollock and Ruth van Reken, "Children of the third Culture: growing up in a Multicultural setting (revision)." This translation practice will make it easier for Chinese readers to understand the children of the third culture and their influence on the world, thus providing reference for the study of the children of the third culture. The second part is a translation report based on translation practice. It mainly includes four chapters. The first chapter mainly introduces the background, theoretical basis, purpose and significance of the translation project, the second chapter introduces the author of the original text, translation content and language characteristics. Chapter three summarizes the problems encountered in the translation process and the translation methods used in the process of translation. On the basis of Nida's functional equivalence theory, the translator mainly adopts free translation, while some specific translation methods are used in practice. For example, conversion method, positive and negative translation method, incremental translation method, sub-translation method and recombination method. Chapter four summarizes the experience and existing problems in the process of translation. In a word, translation practice enables translators to better understand translation activities and enrich translation practice experience. At the same time, the translation will help Chinese readers to learn more about the children of the third culture and provide a new perspective and reference for the study of the children of the third culture.
