【摘要】：第二任香港總督德庇時(shí),是19世紀(jì)第一位向英語世界系統(tǒng)介紹中國(guó)詩詞、小說和戲曲的英國(guó)漢學(xué)家。作為外交家和政治家的他聲名狼藉,頗富爭(zhēng)議;作為文學(xué)翻譯家和文化傳播者,他卻成就卓著,頗獲嘉賞。德庇時(shí)對(duì)于《三國(guó)演義》的譯介一直是學(xué)術(shù)界撲朔迷離的話題,本文在第一手英文資料輯佚的基礎(chǔ)上,圍繞他的譯文《三國(guó)志節(jié)譯文》,從文本細(xì)讀、比較分析及影響研究的角度作了深入探討�！度龂�(guó)志節(jié)譯文》作為中英文合印《三國(guó)演義》的第一次嘗試,不僅是《三國(guó)演義》英譯史上的重要一環(huán),在研究中英文化的早期接觸方面也是一個(gè)難得的個(gè)案。
[Abstract]:The second Governor of Hong Kong, John Francis Davis, was the first English sinologist to introduce Chinese poetry, novels and operas to the English world in the 19 th century. As a diplomat and statesman, he was infamous and controversial, but as a literary translator and a cultural communicator, he was well-known for his achievements. John Francis Davis's translation of the Romance of the three Kingdoms has always been a complicated and confusing topic in academic circles. As the first attempt of the Chinese-English co-printing of the Romance of the three Kingdoms, it is not only an important link in the English translation of the Romance of the three Kingdoms, but also an important part in the history of the translation of the Romance of the three Kingdoms. It is also a rare case to study the early contact between Chinese and British culture.
