高中英語閱讀教學過程中的文化導入研究

【摘要】:隨著全球化的形成,國際交往不斷擴大,對外交流更加頻繁。人們逐漸發(fā)現(xiàn)純粹以語言形式為中心的英語教學已經不能滿足社會需要。很多學者就文化導入的重要性和具體實施的原則、方法展開了廣泛的探討,但對高中英語課堂的文化導入的研究則少之又少。這使得文化導入在高中英語課堂教學的地位突顯出來。雖然高中英語教師和學習者意識到了文化導入的重要性,但是當前還是存在諸多的問題。由于語言與文化的密不可分,這要求教師在傳授語言的過程中加強文化知識的導入。本文回顧了國內外的文化導入研究成果,介紹了語言與文化的關系,提出了文化導入的內容及原則,這四原則分別是:適用性原則、實用性原則、適度性原則和對比原則。接著就社會常規(guī)、價值觀和思維方式的三大方面進行中西方對比,并提出本論文的研究問題:(1)在高中英語閱讀教學過程中文化導入的現(xiàn)狀如何?(2)文化導入在高中英語閱讀教學過程中有哪些方式及存在哪些問題?本研究主要采用課例分析和問卷調查。課例分析選擇來自于高一兩個班級的英語課進行剖析。問卷調查的對象是課例分析的兩個班級隨機抽取40名學生,及來自疆內不同高中,不同年齡和不同教齡的30位教師。本文主要通過問卷調查了解學生的文化意識,對文化的興趣以及通過對教師的問卷了解目前英語教學的現(xiàn)狀,進而通過課例對教師在授課過程中文化導入的方式進行分析,發(fā)現(xiàn)教學過程中的問題,并給出教學啟示。通過本研究,獲得了以下結果:目前,教師和學生能夠認識到文化的重要性,但學生文化意識較弱,教師在教學過程中對于文化教學的時間和精力投入較少。教學中存在的主要問題是:教師的教學觀念需要轉變、教材內容有一定的局限性、教學方式過于單一、沒有創(chuàng)設真實的語言情境。本文帶給我們一些教學啟示,如轉變教師角色、使用多元化的教學方式來給學生創(chuàng)設真實的語言情境、教師應組織一些課外活動給學生更多的練習機會、給學生選取內容豐富的課外讀物。
[Abstract]:With the formation of globalization, international exchanges continue to expand and foreign exchanges become more frequent.It is gradually found that the language-centered English teaching can no longer meet the needs of the society.Many scholars have carried out extensive discussions on the importance of cultural introduction and the principles and methods of its implementation, but there are very few studies on cultural introduction in senior high school English classes.This makes the position of cultural introduction in high school English classroom teaching prominent.Although high school English teachers and learners realize the importance of cultural introduction, there are still many problems.Because language and culture are inseparable, it requires teachers to strengthen the introduction of cultural knowledge in the process of teaching language.This paper reviews the research results of cultural introduction at home and abroad, introduces the relationship between language and culture, and puts forward the contents and principles of cultural introduction. The four principles are: applicability principle, practicability principle, moderation principle and contrast principle.And then make a comparison between China and the West in the three aspects of social norms, values and ways of thinking.The author also puts forward the research question of this thesis: 1) what is the current situation of cultural introduction in senior high school English reading teaching? (2) what are the ways and problems of cultural introduction in the process of senior high school English reading teaching?This research mainly adopts the class case analysis and the questionnaire survey.The case study selected English lessons from one or two classes to analyze.The subjects of the questionnaire were 40 students randomly selected from two classes, and 30 teachers from different senior middle schools, different ages and different teaching years in Xinjiang.This paper mainly studies the students' cultural consciousness, their interest in culture and the present situation of English teaching through questionnaires from teachers, and then analyzes the ways in which teachers introduce culture in the course of teaching.Discover the problems in the teaching process, and give the teaching enlightenment.Through this study, the following results are obtained: at present, teachers and students can realize the importance of culture, but students' cultural consciousness is weak, and teachers devote less time and energy to culture teaching.The main problems in teaching are that teachers' teaching concept needs to be changed, the content of teaching material has certain limitations, the teaching method is too single, and the real language situation has not been created.This paper gives us some teaching enlightenment, such as changing the role of teachers, using a variety of teaching methods to create a real language situation for students, teachers should organize some extracurricular activities to give students more opportunities to practice.Select a wide range of extracurricular reading materials for students.
