【摘要】：本文是一篇英漢翻譯實踐報告,報告原文選自青少年文學著作《異國他鄉(xiāng)》。本書于2014年5月在阿歇特出版公司出版,作者是澳大利亞著名青少年文學作家瑪克辛·貝妮伯·克拉克。本書共包含十個短篇故事,譯者選取其中的"戴維"、"哈雷姆瓊斯"和"希望"三篇為分析對象,通過對每個故事中人物的刻畫和內心活動的描寫,呼吁社會關注那些被推到社會邊緣的聲音,包括移民、難民和種族歧視等問題。同時,該書也對廣大青少年讀者具有極為重要的意義,有助于青少年心理健康成長。除了介紹翻譯項目的背景和意義外,本翻譯實踐報告重點介紹了第四章翻譯難點與方法。在本次實踐過程中,譯者發(fā)現此次翻譯實踐的難點集中于詞和句子的翻譯上,其中包括:書中頻繁出現的粗俗語和專有名詞;原文中出現的定語從句和短句子,以及針對青少年文學著作的特點,如何在保持原文寫作特點的前提下,將譯文翻譯通順等。所以,在翻譯的過程中,譯者靈活使用各種翻譯方法和技巧,在詞匯上采用音譯加注法和替代法等,在句法上采用語義闡述,增譯法和合句法等來處理在翻譯中所遇到的問題,從而達到譯文意思忠實于原文,同時符合漢語表達習慣的目的。通過此次翻譯實踐,筆者對青少年文學的翻譯有了更為深刻的認識。此外,針對此次翻譯實踐中出現的問題和不足,譯者也及時做出總結,并希望通過今后不斷的翻譯練習提升自己的翻譯技巧,解決翻譯中出現的問題,對今后的翻譯工作有所幫助,也給未來的譯者遇到類似問題時提供一些參考。
[Abstract]:This paper is a practical report on English-Chinese translation.The book was published in May 2014 by Maxine Beniber Clark, a famous Australian youth writer.The book contains ten short stories, and the translator selects three of them, David, Harlem Jones and Hope, to analyze the characters and inner activities of each story.Calls for attention to voices pushed to the margins of society, including immigration, refugees and racial discrimination.At the same time, the book is also of great significance to the majority of young readers, conducive to the mental health of young people.In addition to introducing the background and significance of the translation project, this translation practice report focuses on the translation difficulties and methods in Chapter IV.In the course of this practice, the translator finds that the difficulties of this translation practice focus on the translation of words and sentences, including: the common colloquial words and proper nouns frequently appearing in the book; the attributive clauses and short sentences in the original text.According to the characteristics of juvenile literature, how to translate the translated text smoothly on the premise of maintaining the writing characteristics of the original text.Therefore, in the process of translation, the translator uses various translation methods and techniques flexibly, uses transliteration plus note and substitution in vocabulary, uses semantic elaboration in syntax, adds translation and syntactic to deal with the problems encountered in translation.In order to achieve the translation meaning faithful to the original text, at the same time in line with the Chinese expression habits.Through this translation practice, the author has a deeper understanding of the translation of juvenile literature.In addition, in view of the problems and shortcomings in the translation practice, the translator also makes a summary in time, and hopes to improve his translation skills and solve the problems in translation through continuous translation exercises in the future.It is helpful to the future translation work and also provides some reference for future translators when they encounter similar problems.
