【摘要】：漢語科技文獻(xiàn)的英譯是中國科研成果走向國際的主要途徑之一,而譯文的質(zhì)量在很大程度上決定了中國科研成果在國際上的認(rèn)可程度。因此,對漢語科技文獻(xiàn)英譯的深入研究很有必要。本報告以《面向新型處理器的數(shù)據(jù)密集型計算》(節(jié)選)及其譯文作為研究文本。報告從目的論的三原則出發(fā),舉出翻譯實踐中的案例,闡述翻譯實踐中應(yīng)用的翻譯策略。作者采用多義詞的準(zhǔn)確翻譯和冗余性信息的省譯來實現(xiàn)譯文的準(zhǔn)確性與簡明性,采用狀語的轉(zhuǎn)換和冒號的使用來實現(xiàn)譯文的邏輯性與連貫性,采用動詞的轉(zhuǎn)換和成分的增添來使譯文更忠實于原文作者的意圖。本次翻譯實踐的問題和不足是作者計算機領(lǐng)域的知識儲備不足以及原文中的少量語言瑕疵對翻譯造成了一定的困難。通過本次翻譯實踐,作者得出結(jié)論:翻譯目的論可以作為科技類文獻(xiàn)英譯的指導(dǎo)理論;科技文獻(xiàn)的英譯應(yīng)該以“準(zhǔn)確”作為標(biāo)準(zhǔn),以精確表達(dá)原文作者的研究成果;科技文獻(xiàn)的英譯要實現(xiàn)在目的語中的交際功能,需注意譯文的準(zhǔn)確性、簡潔性、邏輯性與連貫性;科技文獻(xiàn)的英譯應(yīng)采取靈活的翻譯策略以平衡漢語與英語之間的關(guān)系。作者希望本報告可為今后科技文獻(xiàn)的漢英翻譯提供一定的參考。
[Abstract]:The translation of Chinese scientific documents into English is one of the main ways for Chinese scientific research to go international, and the quality of translation determines to a great extent the degree of international recognition of Chinese scientific research achievements.Therefore, it is necessary to study the translation of Chinese scientific and technological documents into English.This report is based on data-intensive Computing for New processors (excerpts) and its translation.Based on the three principles of Skopos theory, the report gives examples in translation practice and expounds the translation strategies applied in translation practice.The author uses the accurate translation of polysemous words and the economized translation of redundant information to realize the accuracy and conciseness of the translation, the adverbial transformation and the use of colon to realize the logicality and coherence of the translation.The translation of verbs and the addition of elements are used to make the translation more faithful to the intention of the original author.The problems and shortcomings of the translation practice are the lack of knowledge in the field of computer science and a small number of language defects in the original text, which cause some difficulties in translation.Through this translation practice, the author draws a conclusion that Skopos theory can be used as the guiding theory for the English translation of scientific and technological documents, and that the translation of scientific and technological documents should be based on the criterion of "accuracy" to accurately express the author's research results.In order to realize the communicative function in the target language, the English translation of scientific and technological documents should pay attention to the accuracy, conciseness, logicality and coherence of the target language, and adopt flexible translation strategies in order to balance the relationship between Chinese and English.The author hopes that this report can provide some references for the translation of scientific and technical documents into Chinese and English in the future.
