【摘要】：圖片說明的可讀性僅次于標(biāo)題和內(nèi)容提要。作為圖片的一部分,圖片說明對圖片起到解釋、補(bǔ)充、提升的作用。但圖片說明的獨立性較差,不能單獨存在,必須依附圖片而存在。因此,研究圖片說明的翻譯非常重要。一條有效的圖片說明譯文不僅能幫助讀者理解文章內(nèi)容,還能提高讀者的整體閱讀體驗。反之,一條乏善可陳的圖片說明譯文則給讀者帶來閱讀困難。翻譯圖片說明需注意:一要結(jié)合圖片。不看圖片,只根據(jù)圖片的文字說明進(jìn)行翻譯,不能有效傳達(dá)圖片的含義。二要結(jié)合文章,不看文章,翻譯出來的圖片說明文字有可能與正文內(nèi)容不一致、甚至矛盾。本實踐報告中的圖片材料選自《愛迪生與創(chuàng)新的興起》,該書是導(dǎo)師分配的翻譯任務(wù),目前市面上還沒有譯文中文。筆者在案例分析中分析了直譯,增譯,省譯,改譯,轉(zhuǎn)換法,加注法以及化被動為主動句在圖片說明漢譯中的應(yīng)用。本實踐報告共分為四個部分。第一部分是翻譯任務(wù)描述,包括材料來源以及作品簡介;第二部分是翻譯過程描述;第三部分是圖片說明英譯漢案例分析。第四部分是翻譯實踐總結(jié)。
[Abstract]:The readability of the picture description is second only to the title and the executive summary.As part of the picture, the picture description explains, complements, and elevates the picture.But the independence of the picture description is poor, can not exist alone, must depend on the picture and exist.Therefore, it is very important to study the translation of picture description.An effective translation can not only help the reader understand the content of the article, but also improve the reader's overall reading experience.On the other hand, a poor translation of a picture description makes it difficult for the reader to read.Translation of the picture description should be noted: first, to combine the picture.Do not look at the picture, only according to the text of the picture translation, can not effectively convey the meaning of the picture.Second, combine the article, do not read the article, the translation of the text may not be consistent with the text, or even contradictory.The photo material in this practical report is selected from Edison and the rise of Innovation. The book is a translation task assigned by the tutor, but there is no translation in Chinese.In the case study, the author analyzes the applications of literal translation, incremental translation, saving translation, changing translation, conversion method, adding note method and turning passive sentence into Chinese translation of picture description.The report is divided into four parts.The first part is the translation task description, including the source of the material and the introduction of the works; the second part is the translation process description; the third part is the case study of English-to-Chinese.The fourth part is a summary of translation practice.
