【摘要】：20世紀(jì)末翻譯研究出現(xiàn)文化轉(zhuǎn)向,操縱學(xué)派提出意識形態(tài)、詩學(xué)、贊助人是影響翻譯的三大要素,但過往操縱理論在翻譯中的運(yùn)用研究多集中于文學(xué)翻譯領(lǐng)域。隨著中國對外交流增多,中英新聞翻譯這一種特殊文本體裁的翻譯,不僅日漸增多,更承載了對外宣傳的任務(wù),幫助中國文化“走出去”。因為新聞文本的特殊性,加之中英新聞體制和文體差異,實際上,中英新聞翻譯也受到意識形態(tài)等因素的影響。本文創(chuàng)造性地嘗試以翻譯研究中的操縱理論為框架,考察中英新聞翻譯中語言及語言之外的影響要素。作者從梳理操縱理論以及新聞翻譯研究現(xiàn)有文獻(xiàn)開始,在細(xì)致考察中英新聞翻譯的定義、特點以及在西方接受情況的基礎(chǔ)上,以權(quán)威中外新聞媒體發(fā)布的翻譯實例為研究對象,輔以對中英新聞翻譯實踐者進(jìn)行的實地訪談,進(jìn)而研究意識形態(tài)、贊助人和詩學(xué)三大要素在中英新聞翻譯中的影響。因為中西方意識形態(tài)、新聞贊助人不同,中外媒體在進(jìn)行中英新聞翻譯時從選材到文本改寫都受到不同的限制。論文研究發(fā)現(xiàn)一方面在翻譯政治敏感類新聞文本時,中國譯者需要保持政治正確,捍衛(wèi)國家利益,另一方面譯者應(yīng)該力求通過翻譯改寫在主動輸出中國文化和迎合西方讀者意識形態(tài)和閱讀習(xí)慣之間達(dá)到平衡。針對各個操縱因素,論文進(jìn)一步明確了新聞翻譯從業(yè)者在限制條件下的改寫策略以及應(yīng)具備的能力,以期豐富新聞英譯的理論研究并提高新聞英譯的實踐效果。
[Abstract]:At the end of the 20th century, there was a cultural turn in translation studies. The manipulation school proposed ideology, poetics and patron as the three main factors influencing translation. However, the study of the application of manipulation theory in translation has focused on the field of literary translation. With the increase of communication between China and the outside world, the translation of Chinese-English news translation, a special genre of text, is not only increasing, but also carrying the task of propaganda. Help Chinese culture "go out". Because of the particularity of news texts, coupled with the differences between Chinese and English news systems and styles, in fact, Chinese-English news translation is also influenced by ideology and other factors. This paper creatively tries to use the manipulation theory in translation studies as the framework. The author begins with the review of the theory of manipulation and the existing literature on news translation, on the basis of a careful examination of the definition, characteristics and acceptance in the West of Chinese-English news translation. The translation examples published by authoritative Chinese and foreign news media are taken as the research object, supplemented by on-the-spot interviews with Chinese and English news translation practitioners to study ideology. The influence of patronage and Poetics on Chinese and English News Translation. The Chinese and foreign media have different limitations in translating Chinese and English news from material selection to text rewriting. On the one hand, it is found that Chinese translators need to maintain political correctness and defend their national interests when translating politically sensitive news texts. On the other hand, translators should strive to strike a balance between actively exporting Chinese culture and catering to Western readers' ideologies and reading habits through translation rewriting. The thesis further clarifies the rewriting strategies and abilities of news translation practitioners under restricted conditions in order to enrich the theoretical research of news translation into English and to improve the practical effect of news translation into English.
