【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告,以《美國文學中的狼形象與狼神話》第十七章為翻譯原文。經(jīng)查閱中國知網(wǎng),百度及谷歌等網(wǎng)絡資源,該書目前在國內(nèi)尚無譯本出現(xiàn)。第十七章《母狼:荒原性、社會化和女勇士的代表》從文學批評和生態(tài)批評的角度出發(fā),探討了狼族故事對現(xiàn)實世界的意義,旨在普及美國文學知識,推動文學學科的發(fā)展。原文本是學術(shù)著作,屬于信息型文本,譯文的語言要力求準確、簡潔、通順。同時,譯者根據(jù)文本類型和特點,經(jīng)過對主要翻譯理論的甄選,選定以奈達的功能對等理論為指導。功能對等主要探討原語轉(zhuǎn)化為譯入語的過程中在效果上的對等,翻譯時不求文字表面的死板對應,而要在兩種語言間達成功能上的對等。這是整個翻譯實踐所運用的主要理論�？紤]到譯文的預期讀者及其用于文化交流傳播的目的,譯者在翻譯時,針對文中在結(jié)構(gòu)、語言和文化方面的例子采取了一定的翻譯技巧如:增加注釋、轉(zhuǎn)換法、意譯法等,使譯文能夠符合目的語讀者的閱讀習慣。本次翻譯以工具書和互聯(lián)網(wǎng)資源為輔助,充分做好譯前準備,對譯文進行細致認真地翻譯、多次修改和潤色,最終完成定稿。翻譯實踐報告分為翻譯項目介紹、理論依據(jù)、翻譯過程和翻譯實踐總結(jié)四個部分。報告首先對翻譯項目材料進行介紹,列舉選材原因;然后對翻譯過程進行概述。針對最終翻譯成果,報告選取具體翻譯案例,從結(jié)構(gòu)層面、語言層面、文化層面三個方面分析了翻譯難點及其解決方案。最后,報告做出翻譯實踐總結(jié),主要總結(jié)了本次實踐中所得經(jīng)驗教訓以及運用理論尚未解決的問題,強調(diào)譯者應該擁有雙語轉(zhuǎn)換和資料檢索這兩項能力。通過此次翻譯,譯者對學術(shù)翻譯有了進一步的理解,自身翻譯技能也得到了一定的鍛煉。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report, based on the translation of Chapter 17 of Wolf Image and Wolf Myth in American Literature. At present, there is no translated version of the book in China. Chapter 17, "the female wolf: a representative of the wilderness, socialization and the female warrior", discusses the significance of the wolf story to the real world from the perspective of literary criticism and ecological criticism. It aims at popularizing American literary knowledge and promoting the development of the literary discipline. The original text is an academic work, which belongs to the informative text. The language of the translated text should be accurate, concise and smooth. At the same time, the translator, according to the type and characteristics of the text, Through the selection of the main translation theories, Nida's functional equivalence theory is chosen as the guide. Functional equivalence mainly discusses the equivalence in effect in the process of translating the source language into the target language, and does not seek the rigid correspondence of the text surface in translation. This is the main theory used in the whole translation practice. Considering the intended readers of the target text and the purpose of cultural communication, the translator, when translating, aims at the structure of the text. Examples of language and culture include some translation techniques such as adding annotations, conversion, free translation and so on, so that the target text can conform to the reading habits of the target language readers. This translation is assisted by reference books and Internet resources. Be fully prepared before translation, carefully and conscientiously translate the translation, revise and polish it many times, and finalize the final version. The translation practice report is divided into translation project introduction, theoretical basis, The report first introduces the materials of the translation project, enumerates the reasons for the selection, and then summarizes the translation process. In view of the final translation results, the report selects specific translation cases from the structural level. At the linguistic level and the cultural level, the translation difficulties and their solutions are analyzed. Finally, the report summarizes the translation practice, including the lessons learned from the practice and the unsolved problems in the application of the theory. It is emphasized that the translator should have the ability of bilingual translation and data retrieval. Through this translation, the translator has a better understanding of academic translation, and his own translation skills have also been trained to a certain extent.
