【摘要】：本文是同一項(xiàng)目下雪人CAT免費(fèi)版在商務(wù)合同漢譯過程中的應(yīng)用實(shí)踐報(bào)告。商務(wù)合同英語作為一種具有法律效力的文本,規(guī)定了合同各方的權(quán)利和義務(wù)。隨著中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的不斷發(fā)展、外貿(mào)活動(dòng)的日益增加,商務(wù)合同的漢譯越來越普遍。而商貿(mào)活動(dòng)中合同的漢譯不僅要求翻譯的準(zhǔn)確性,更要求其時(shí)效性。高質(zhì)量的,及時(shí)的商務(wù)合同漢譯不僅能促成貿(mào)易合同的簽訂,還能使合同各方明確自己的權(quán)利和義務(wù)、規(guī)避合同各方在合作過程中的分歧,避免合同各方因?qū)贤斫獾钠疃a(chǎn)生糾紛,讓合同的履行更加順暢。商務(wù)英語合同具有其自身的特點(diǎn),主要表現(xiàn)為:詞匯上用詞較正式且多貿(mào)易術(shù)語;句式上多固定表達(dá);篇章上,同一類型的合同結(jié)構(gòu)有相似之處。如何在較短的時(shí)間內(nèi)讓商務(wù)英語合同中的貿(mào)易術(shù)語的翻譯前后一致,提高翻譯的質(zhì)量就成了譯者不得不面對(duì)的一個(gè)難題。CAT的出現(xiàn)恰好解決了這一難題。本文選用雪人CAT免費(fèi)版來在同一項(xiàng)目下進(jìn)行商務(wù)英語漢譯的應(yīng)用實(shí)踐,不僅因?yàn)樗茏屔藤Q(mào)術(shù)語更加統(tǒng)一,減輕譯員的工作負(fù)擔(dān),大大提高翻譯質(zhì)量和效率,還因?yàn)槠溟_發(fā)者免費(fèi)提供了30萬單詞的詞典和19000句的法律句庫,且其安裝操作十分簡(jiǎn)單方便。本文通過運(yùn)用雪人CAT免費(fèi)版的預(yù)翻譯功能、參考翻譯功能和輔助翻譯功能展現(xiàn)了其在詞、短語、術(shù)語及句子上的翻譯優(yōu)勢(shì),同時(shí)也發(fā)現(xiàn)了其不足:在很大程度上受數(shù)據(jù)庫的限制;預(yù)翻譯通常選擇數(shù)據(jù)庫中的第一個(gè)句子而不是最恰當(dāng)?shù)木渥?有詞形變化的詞在翻譯時(shí)無法識(shí)別等。本文的目的在于通過將雪人CAT免費(fèi)版應(yīng)用于同一項(xiàng)目下商務(wù)合同的漢譯,展現(xiàn)雪人CAT免費(fèi)版在商務(wù)合同漢譯過程中的優(yōu)勢(shì)和不足,為更多的譯者提供借鑒。
[Abstract]:This paper is a report on the application of the free version of snowman CAT in the process of translating business contracts into Chinese under the same project. The rights and obligations of the parties to the contract are stipulated. With the continuous development of the Chinese economy and the increasing foreign trade activities, the translation of commercial contracts into Chinese is becoming more and more common. The translation of contracts into Chinese in commercial activities not only requires the accuracy of translation, High quality and timely translation of commercial contracts can not only lead to the signing of trade contracts, but also enable the parties to make clear their rights and obligations, and avoid the differences between the parties in the process of cooperation. To avoid disputes between the parties to the contract because of the deviation of their understanding of the contract, and to make the performance of the contract more smooth. Business English contract has its own characteristics, mainly as follows: more formal and more trade terms in vocabulary, more fixed expressions in sentence patterns; In a text, there are similarities in the structure of the same type of contract. How to make the translation of trade terms in business English contracts consistent in a relatively short period of time, Improving the quality of translation has become a difficult problem that translators have to face. The emergence of cat solves this problem. This paper chooses the free version of snowman CAT to carry out the application practice of translating business English into Chinese under the same project. Not only because it makes business terms more uniform, reduces the workload of interpreters and greatly improves the quality and efficiency of translation, but also because its developers provide free dictionaries of 300,000 words and a library of 19000 legal sentences. The installation is very simple and convenient. This paper shows its advantages in terms of words, phrases, terms and sentences by using the free version of the snowman CAT pre-translation function, referring to the translation function and auxiliary translation function. At the same time, it is also found that it is limited to a great extent by the database, and the first sentence in the database is usually chosen instead of the most appropriate sentence in pre-translation. The purpose of this paper is to show the advantages and disadvantages of the free version of snowman CAT in the process of commercial contract translation by applying the free version of snowman CAT to the Chinese translation of business contract under the same project. For more translators to provide reference.
