【摘要】：21世紀(jì)是一個(gè)信息化時(shí)代,國(guó)際間的跨文化交流愈加頻繁,國(guó)人對(duì)國(guó)際性重要事件的認(rèn)知欲也日趨強(qiáng)烈。因此,為了滿足國(guó)人的信息需求,促進(jìn)源語(yǔ)言與目的語(yǔ)之間的文化交流,各種不同領(lǐng)域的翻譯作品層出不窮。本文是一篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告,原文選自英國(guó)官方于2016年7月6日公布的《伊拉克戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)調(diào)查報(bào)告》。該報(bào)告針對(duì)2003年爆發(fā)的伊拉克戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)展開(kāi)全面調(diào)查,內(nèi)容涉及英國(guó)參戰(zhàn)的背景、過(guò)程、影響及經(jīng)驗(yàn)教訓(xùn),具有十分重要的意義。筆者翻譯了其中的四個(gè)部分:英美關(guān)系、決策、關(guān)于軍事行動(dòng)法律依據(jù)的建議、大規(guī)模殺傷性武器。項(xiàng)目原文涉及很多背景信息,頻繁使用專(zhuān)有名詞,長(zhǎng)難句及被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),并且一詞多義和名詞化現(xiàn)象十分普遍,為英漢翻譯帶來(lái)了一定的難度。筆者在翻譯過(guò)程中以卡特琳娜·萊斯的文本類(lèi)型理論為指導(dǎo),闡述了萊斯的文本類(lèi)型分類(lèi),每種文本的特點(diǎn)以及對(duì)應(yīng)的翻譯策略。然后,確定項(xiàng)目原文為信息型文本,注重內(nèi)容和主題,并以目標(biāo)語(yǔ)為導(dǎo)向。因此,筆者采用了引申、轉(zhuǎn)換、增詞等翻譯技巧讓原文內(nèi)容明晰化,同時(shí)使譯文盡可能地接近原文的讀者效果。經(jīng)過(guò)此次翻譯實(shí)踐,筆者總結(jié)了翻譯過(guò)程中的啟示和經(jīng)驗(yàn)教訓(xùn),受益匪淺,并希望此翻譯報(bào)告能夠在滿足國(guó)人信息需求,深化世界和平意識(shí)的同時(shí),也能為調(diào)查報(bào)告類(lèi)英漢翻譯提供一定的參考。
[Abstract]:21th century is an information age, international cross-cultural exchanges become more and more frequent, and the awareness of important international events is increasingly strong. Therefore, in order to meet the information needs of the people, In order to promote the cultural exchange between the source language and the target language, translation works in various fields have emerged in endlessly. This paper is a translation practice report. The original text is from the "Iraq War investigation report" published by the British authorities on July 6th 2016. The report carries out a comprehensive investigation into the Iraq War that broke out in 2003, covering the background, process, impact and lessons learned of Britain's participation in the war. The author has translated four parts: Anglo-American relations, decision-making, suggestions on the legal basis for military action, weapons of mass destruction. The original text of the project involves a lot of background information and frequent use of proper terms. Long difficult sentences and passive voice, and the phenomenon of polysemy and nominalization is very common, which brings some difficulty to English-Chinese translation. The author is guided by Katrina Rice's text type theory in the process of translation. The text type classification of Rice, the characteristics of each text and the corresponding translation strategies are expounded. Then, the original text of the project is determined to be an informational text, which focuses on the content and subject, and is guided by the target language. Therefore, the author adopts extension and conversion. The translation techniques, such as adding words, make the original content clear, and at the same time make the translation as close as possible to the reader effect of the original. Through this translation practice, the author sums up the enlightenment and lessons learned in the process of translation, which has benefited a lot. It is hoped that this translation report can not only meet the information needs of the Chinese people and deepen the sense of world peace, but also provide some references for the English-Chinese translation of the report.
