【摘要】：近年來(lái),人們對(duì)書籍的選擇愈來(lái)愈傾向于精神層面,他們渴望認(rèn)知自我、提升自我、突破自我。在這樣的背景下,市場(chǎng)上的勵(lì)志自助類書籍頗受歡迎。此次翻譯實(shí)踐材料為《The Art of People:11 Simple People Skills That Will Get You Everything You Want》。依據(jù)紐馬克的文本類型理論,文本可分為信息型文本、表達(dá)型文本、呼喚型文本。呼喚型文本其核心是讀者層,強(qiáng)調(diào)譯文的可讀性。原文屬于勵(lì)志自助書,旨在感染讀者、引起共鳴并促使其采取行動(dòng),因此可歸類為呼喚型文本。對(duì)于此類文本的翻譯,交際翻譯法較為適用。本篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告從詞匯、句法和篇章層面展開(kāi)。詞匯層面上,專有名詞及帶有引申義的詞語(yǔ)翻譯是其中的兩個(gè)難點(diǎn),譯者分別采用直譯加注法與引申法來(lái)進(jìn)行處理。句法層面上,對(duì)于一些長(zhǎng)句或小短句的翻譯,譯者依據(jù)內(nèi)在邏輯關(guān)系,采用拆分法和合并法等進(jìn)行調(diào)整,使得譯文更加通順地道。語(yǔ)篇層面上,根據(jù)原文的文本類型與特點(diǎn),譯者采用了增譯法等進(jìn)行翻譯。翻譯過(guò)程中,譯者還采用了省譯法、反譯法、轉(zhuǎn)換法和倒置法等來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)交際翻譯。譯者希望借此翻譯給國(guó)內(nèi)的讀者以激勵(lì)與指引,希望更多譯者可以翻譯那些真正實(shí)用的勵(lì)志書籍,傳播正能量,同時(shí)期待此篇報(bào)告能為勵(lì)志書籍的翻譯提供一定的借鑒。
[Abstract]:In recent years, people's choice of books has become more and more spiritual, they are eager to recognize themselves, to improve themselves, to break through themselves. Inspirational self-help books are popular in the market. The translation practice is < The Art of People:11 Simple People Skills That Will Get You Everything You Want >. According to Newmark's text type theory, text can be divided into informational text and expressive text. The core of the calling text is the reader level, emphasizing the readability of the translated text. The original text belongs to the self-help book of motivation, which aims to infect the reader, resonate with the reader and make it take action. Therefore, it can be classified as a calling text. For the translation of this kind of text, communicative translation is more suitable. This translation practice report is carried out from the lexical, syntactic and textual levels. There are two difficulties in the translation of proper nouns and words with citations, which are dealt with by literal translation and extension respectively. At the syntactic level, the translator bases on the internal logic relation for the translation of some long or short sentences. According to the type and characteristics of the original text, the translator adopts the additional translation method in the process of translation. In the process of translation, the translator also adopts the method of saving translation. In order to achieve communicative translation, the translator hopes to provide encouragement and guidance to readers in China, hoping that more translators will be able to translate the truly practical inspirational books and spread positive energy. At the same time, I hope this report can provide some reference for the translation of inspirational books.
