【摘要】:本翻譯報告是以潘洵教授的《抗日戰(zhàn)爭時期重慶大轟炸研究》為翻譯原文,在導(dǎo)師的帶領(lǐng)下,組建翻譯小組,進(jìn)行漢譯英的翻譯任務(wù)。在本項任務(wù)中,作者負(fù)責(zé)的翻譯項目為本書的第一章。本章主要內(nèi)容為重慶大轟炸發(fā)生的緣由,包括早期日本對中國的轟炸、重慶確立為戰(zhàn)時首都以及其帶來的影響。該翻譯報告結(jié)合了喬治·斯坦納的翻譯四步驟理論的第三步:吸收,再通過具體的翻譯技巧結(jié)合理論進(jìn)行討論翻譯實例。而在斯坦納的理論中,第三步吸收則是最能體現(xiàn)譯者的主觀能動性,主要體現(xiàn)在譯者面對譯文時,需對翻譯策略作出選擇。由于該文本屬于歷史類學(xué)術(shù)著作,譯者在吸收的理論指導(dǎo)下,決定采用歸化的翻譯策略——向譯文讀者靠攏。因此在這一步需要譯者既要考慮讀者的感受,又要保留原文的語言特色,讓中國文化走出去。因此,譯者需結(jié)合翻譯策略使用所學(xué)的翻譯技巧進(jìn)行文字的轉(zhuǎn)換工作。全文共計五個部分:簡介、原文背景、喬治·斯坦納翻譯四步驟的吸收以及該理論指導(dǎo)下的翻譯策略及技巧、譯例分析、總結(jié)。第一部分主要討論了翻譯項目的背景、意義、難點;第二部分為原文背景介紹,包括原文作者、原文文本以及重慶大轟炸的介紹;第三部分為翻譯四步驟的理論介紹,尤其是對第三步吸收的介紹,并且在該理論指導(dǎo)下的翻譯策略及技巧的選擇;第四部分是從實例討論吸收的理論結(jié)合翻譯技巧體現(xiàn)譯者的主體性;最后一部分為總結(jié)整個翻譯項目,以及作者從本次翻譯活動中學(xué)到的經(jīng)驗與收獲?偠灾,本次翻譯實踐活動中,作者對翻譯產(chǎn)生更多的興趣。在導(dǎo)師的帶領(lǐng)下,翻譯小組以漢譯英為主要任務(wù),翻譯準(zhǔn)備包括同主題的漢譯英實踐,收集英、漢、日三語平行文本,為今后的學(xué)術(shù)翻譯研究提供語料;其次,了解并學(xué)習(xí)了斯坦納的翻譯觀;最后,對這段歷史有了重新認(rèn)識,尤其是通過英譯實踐,也希望有更多的不知情者了解這段歷史,銘記這段歷史。
[Abstract]:This translation report is based on the translation of Professor Pan Xun's the study of Chongqing bombing during the Anti-Japanese War. Under the leadership of his tutor, a translation team was set up to carry out the task of translating from Chinese to English. In this task. The translation project the author is responsible for is the first chapter of this book. This chapter focuses on the causes of the Chongqing bombing, including the early Japanese bombing of China. Chongqing was established as the wartime capital and its impact. The translation report combines the third step of George Steiner's four-step theory of translation: absorption. In Steiner's theory, the third step absorption is the most effective reflection of the translator's initiative, mainly when the translator faces the target text. Since the text belongs to a historical academic work, the translator is guided by the theory of absorption. Therefore, it is necessary for the translator to consider the readers' feelings while preserving the linguistic characteristics of the original text so that Chinese culture can go out. The translator needs to use the translation skills he has learned to transform the text. The whole text consists of five parts: brief introduction and background of the original text. George Steiner's absorption of four steps and translation strategies and techniques under the guidance of this theory, case analysis, summary. The first part mainly discusses the background, significance, and difficulties of translation projects; The second part is the background of the original text, including the original author, the original text and the introduction of Chongqing bombing; The third part is the theoretical introduction of the four steps of translation, especially the introduction to the absorption of the third step, and the choice of translation strategies and techniques under the guidance of the theory. Part 4th reflects the translator's subjectivity in the light of the theory of case study and translation skills. The last part is a summary of the whole translation project, as well as the experiences and achievements the author has learned from the translation activities. Under the guidance of the teacher, the translation team takes C-E translation as its main task, and the translation preparation includes Chinese-English translation practice on the same topic, and the collection of parallel texts in English, Chinese and Japanese. To provide data for academic translation studies in the future; Secondly, we understand and study Steiner's view of translation. Finally, there is a new understanding of the history, especially through the practice of English translation, and it is hoped that more uninformed people will understand and bear in mind the history.
