【摘要】：本翻譯報告是在對《美國新澤西城市大學孔子學院申請材料》的研究以及本人對其進行漢英翻譯實踐的基礎(chǔ)上形成的。該申請材料用于吉林華橋外國語學院和美國新澤西城市大學合作建立孔子學院,旨在進一步促進兩校間的國際交流與合作。在翻譯過程中,譯者遇到了如何再現(xiàn)外事文本特征以及如何正確翻譯具有特殊意義的中文表達方式和長句等問題,并采取了意譯、使用正式和禮貌用語以及對句子進行拆分和重組等策略。本篇翻譯報告在翻譯實踐的基礎(chǔ)上,除了引言和總結(jié)部分,主要包括對翻譯任務(wù)和翻譯過程的描述,對源文本和翻譯過程中遇到的主要問題及采取的解決方法的分析。論文的主體部分是第四部分,主要分析譯者在翻譯過程中遇到的主要問題及采取的解決方法。希望本翻譯研究報告能夠?qū)τ信d趣致力于外事文本翻譯的譯者有所裨益。
[Abstract]:This translation report is based on the study of the application materials for Confucius institute at city university of new jersey, USA, and the translation practice conducted by me. The application materials are used in Jilin huaqiao foreign language institute and u. S. A. City University of New Jersey cooperated in the establishment of Confucius Institutes. In the process of translation, translators are confronted with such problems as how to reproduce the features of foreign texts and how to correctly translate Chinese expressions and long sentences of special significance. It also adopts the strategies of free translation, formal and polite use of language, splitting and recombination of sentences, etc. This translation report is based on translation practice, except for the introduction and summary. It mainly includes the description of the translation task and the translation process, the analysis of the main problems encountered in the source text and the translation process and the analysis of the solutions adopted. The main part of the thesis is 4th parts. It is hoped that this study will be helpful to translators who are interested in translating foreign texts.
