【摘要】：英語有聽、說、讀和寫四項基本技能,其中英語寫作是英語學習重要的技能之一。近期的作為外語英語寫作方面的研究主要集中在寫作環(huán)境、個人特點、文本分析和教學研究四個角度,而在這些研究中很少有從名詞詞組的領域研究英語寫作。僅有的幾篇關于名詞詞組的研究是從文本分析的角度展開的,本論文要從實證角度驗證名詞詞組擴展法在大學生英語寫作教學中的有效性,來填補這方面的空白。在英語寫作中,名詞詞組是重要的成分。大學生在名詞詞組中增加信息使文章變得具有名詞復雜性而不是具有句子復雜性,這變得越來越重要(ParkinsonMusgrave,2014)。以Halliday(2004)系統(tǒng)功能語法中名詞詞組的描述為理論依據(jù),本文作者試圖把名詞詞組擴展法運用到大學英語寫作課堂中。作者組織了一個學期的教學實驗。本研究的實驗對象來自長春某大學大一非英語專業(yè)的兩個班級的學生。一個班級為實驗組,有48人。一個班級為控制組,有49人。在實驗組中,采用名詞詞組擴展法進行寫作教學,在控制組中,采用傳統(tǒng)的寫作教學方法。本研究嘗試探索名詞詞組擴展法在大學生英語寫作教學中的有效性,具體回答三個研究問題:(1)實驗前后名詞詞組的使用特點是什么;(2)實驗后有沒有變化,如果有,為什么,如果沒有,又是為什么;(3)如何通過名詞詞組擴展法提高學生英語寫作能力。本次實驗數(shù)據(jù)分析運用了定性分析和定量分析相結合的方法來確定實驗的可信性和有效性,實驗前和實驗后的統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)分析表明,實驗組在實驗后擴展名詞詞組結構來表達信息的能力增強,作文分數(shù)較控制組進步明顯。名詞詞組擴展法在提高學生英語寫作能力方面是有效的。最后作者提出了論文的一些不足之處,同時提出了未來研究的一些建議。
[Abstract]:English has four basic skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing, of which English writing is one of the most important skills in English learning. Recent researches on EFL writing mainly focus on four aspects: writing environment, personal characteristics, text analysis and teaching research. Only a few researches on noun phrases have been carried out from the perspective of text analysis. This paper is going to verify the validity of noun phrase expansion in the teaching of College English writing from an empirical perspective, so as to fill this gap. In English writing, noun phrases are important components. It is becoming more and more important for college students to add information to noun phrases, which makes the article become nouns complexity rather than sentence complexity. (ParkinsonMusgrave, 2014). Based on the description of noun phrases in Halliday (2004) systemic functional grammar, the author tries to apply noun phrase expansion to college English writing class. The author organized a semester of teaching experiments. The subjects of this study were from two classes of non English Majors in a university in Changchun. One class is an experimental group, with 48 people. One class is a control group with 49 people. In the experimental group, the noun phrase extension method is used to teach writing, and the traditional method of writing is used in the control group. This study attempts to explore the effectiveness of noun phrase expansion method in College English writing teaching, specifically to answer three research questions: (1) before and after the experiment using the characteristics of noun phrases is what; (2) after the experiment there is no change, if there is, why, if not, why is it; (3) how to extend method to improve students' English writing ability by NOUN phrases. Methods the experimental data analysis using a combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to determine the credibility and validity of the statistical data before and after the experiment analysis shows that the enhanced ability of the experimental group after the experiment extended noun phrase structure to express the information of the composition scores than the control group, significant progress. The extension of noun phrase is effective in improving students' English writing ability. Finally, the author puts forward some shortcomings of the paper, and puts forward some suggestions for future research.
