【摘要】： 隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化發(fā)展以及跨文化交際的不斷深入,越來越多的人有機(jī)會(huì)接觸兩門或多門外語。目前中國(guó)高校的英語專業(yè)的學(xué)生很多選修了日語二外,同時(shí)日語專業(yè)的學(xué)生一般都選擇英語作為第二外語。很多人認(rèn)為,被動(dòng)語態(tài)一直是困擾著眾多語言學(xué)習(xí)者的一個(gè)難點(diǎn),英日被動(dòng)語態(tài)的異同給同時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)英日兩門外語的語言學(xué)習(xí)者帶來很大的困難。 Halliday的功能語法認(rèn)為任何語言都有三大元功能,即概念功能、人際功能和語篇功能。及物系統(tǒng)是實(shí)現(xiàn)概念功能的重要系統(tǒng),人類可以選擇不同的過程類型來表達(dá)內(nèi)心世界和外部世界的經(jīng)驗(yàn)以實(shí)現(xiàn)語言的概念功能。在國(guó)內(nèi),用功能語法對(duì)漢語和一門外語進(jìn)行的對(duì)比分析的成果并不罕見,但是用功能語法對(duì)兩門外語進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析卻很少見。鑒于目前的這種情況,本文用Halliday的功能語法,對(duì)英日社論被動(dòng)語態(tài)的異同進(jìn)行了嘗試性的對(duì)比研究。 《天聲人語》是日本知名報(bào)紙《朝日新聞》中受到好評(píng)的專欄,讀者們認(rèn)為它是很有用同時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)英語和日語的資料,所以本文節(jié)選了《天聲人語》中的57篇社論作為分析語料。本文主要以Halliday功能語法理論中的及物系統(tǒng)和語態(tài)系統(tǒng)為基礎(chǔ),分析得出四種主要的有被動(dòng)句的過程類型,并且統(tǒng)計(jì)出了57篇英語社論和相對(duì)應(yīng)的日語社論中的四種過程類型的被動(dòng)句的頻數(shù)。 通過對(duì)統(tǒng)計(jì)數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行分析,得出英日社論中四種過程類型的被動(dòng)句的使用有同有異。在論文的最后,用英日被動(dòng)句使用的限制條件對(duì)英日被動(dòng)句的異同進(jìn)行了原因分析。本文將過程類型和被動(dòng)句使用時(shí)的限制條件進(jìn)行綜合分析,這種分析能夠?yàn)橛⑷毡粍?dòng)語態(tài)的教學(xué)提供新的思路。
