話語理解中的指示行動動詞研究

指示語是語言形式關(guān)聯(lián)語境最直接的表現(xiàn),故向來是語義學與語用學的重要研究課題。在指示語研究范疇中,動詞是相對涉足較淺的領域。對指示動詞(deictic verbs)的研究大多集中在運動動詞如come和go上,而Fillmore、Lyons、Talmy、Clark等人對指示運動動詞(deictic motion verbs)come和go的研究可謂是該領域的經(jīng)典之作。除此之外,學界很少有人系統(tǒng)全面地研究其它指示動詞,尤其是結(jié)合真實話語語料做出解釋的。指示動詞的這一研究現(xiàn)狀促就了本文的研究對象:指示行動動詞(deictic action verbs),即討論話語理解中的行動動詞是如何關(guān)聯(lián)或指示話語語境的。對話語中指示行動動詞的考察擴展了指示動詞的研究范圍,因為以往研究很少關(guān)注除運動動詞之外的其他動詞。如何界定該術(shù)語成為了本文首要解決的焦點問題。與語義學中對行動動詞的傳統(tǒng)界定不同,本文把行動動詞界定為描述話語中行動或動作的語言單位,包括單個行動動詞(single-word action verbs)、行動短語動詞(action phrasal verbs)及行動動詞短語(action verb...
