【摘要】：本文運用新經濟地理學的理論對城市經濟增長模型進行了拓展,詳細分析了集聚效應和擁擠效應對城市規(guī)模的影響機制。通過將基本公共服務因素和房價因素引入擁擠函數對擁擠效應做了進一步的細化,并將擁擠函數納入增長函數,來構建分析穩(wěn)態(tài)演進路徑的理論模型。該模型顯示,城市規(guī)模最后都會收斂于適宜規(guī)模,適宜規(guī)模是動態(tài)變化的,它跟城市經濟狀況,房價,基本公共服務水平有關,行政等級也會影響到城市的適宜規(guī)模。文章利用中國35個大城市2003-2012年的城市面板數據進行實證檢驗,結果與理論模型的基本吻合,房價和基本公共服務對城市規(guī)模有顯著影響。本文還對不同行政層級的城市做了進一步分析,發(fā)現不同行政層級城市適宜規(guī)模的特點。
[Abstract]:In this paper, the theory of new economic geography is used to expand the urban economic growth model, and the influence mechanism of agglomeration and congestion on urban scale is analyzed in detail. The congestion effect is further refined by introducing the basic public service factor and the housing price factor into the crowding function, and the congestion function is incorporated into the growth function to construct a theoretical model for analyzing the steady state evolution path. The model shows that the urban scale will converge to the appropriate scale in the end, and the appropriate scale will change dynamically. It is related to the urban economic situation, housing price, basic public service level, and the administrative level will also affect the appropriate scale of the city. Based on the urban panel data from 2003 to 2012 in 35 major cities in China, the results are in good agreement with the theoretical model. Housing prices and basic public services have a significant impact on the scale of cities. This paper also makes a further analysis of different administrative levels of cities, and finds out the characteristics of the appropriate scale of different administrative levels of cities.
