加拿大大學治理:傳統(tǒng)與變革

【摘要】:加拿大高等教育歷史始于1635年,經過近400年的發(fā)展,其大學治理模式日益成熟。尤其經過20世紀初和20世紀60年代的兩次改革,其治理模式中大學與政府的關系、董事會與評議會的關系以及其他利益相關者組織的權責已日漸清晰。但隨著知識經濟的到來和高等教育國際化進程加快,日益復雜的外部環(huán)境對加拿大大學提出了許多新的挑戰(zhàn)。新形勢下,加拿大大學需要進一步梳理大學內外部治理的關系,優(yōu)化治理結構,以協(xié)調大學諸多利益相關者的權益關系。
[Abstract]:The history of higher education in Canada began in 1635. After nearly 400 years, the university's governance model is becoming more and more mature. The relationship between the university and the government, the relationship between the board of directors and the council and the organization of other stakeholders have become more and more clear after the two reforms in the early 20th century and the 1960s. But with the arrival of the knowledge economy and the acceleration of the internationalization of higher education, the increasingly complex external environment has put forward many new challenges to the University of Canada. Under the new situation, the University of Canada needs to further comb the relationship between the internal and external governance of the university, and optimize the governance structure to coordinate the rights and interests of many stakeholders in the university.
