聽是人們用來交流的一種最基本的手段，是獲得語言知識和接收其他各種信息的主要渠道。在聽中，聽者所想獲得的是對說話者所說和所指的準確理解。因此，為了達到這個目的，我們不僅要理解所聽句子的表面意思，還要理解說話者的意圖。在有些情況下，說話者的意圖與句子的意思相一致，在這種情況下我們很容易就能夠理解話語。但是，在許多情況下說話者的說話意圖并不能與句子的字面意思相一致，說話者意圖是間接的意思。塞爾把這種情況稱為間接言語行為。為了對說話者間接言語行為有準確理解，聽話者首先要理解話語所表達的字面意義，然后再通過其字面意義準確地推斷出其中的言外之意。然而目前在高職高專的英語教學卻依然按照傳統(tǒng)的聽力教學方法，緊緊注重話語的句子層面，如發(fā)音、詞匯、語法等方面，而忽視了話語本身的內(nèi)容。筆者通過對目前高職高專英語聽力教學現(xiàn)狀進行調(diào)查，發(fā)現(xiàn)：（1）高職高專學生對聽力理解中的間接言語行為的識別能力較差。（2）高職高專學生對聽力理解的態(tài)度非常積極但是他們的認識卻非常片面。（3）高職高專學生對間接言語行為理論的認識非常有限，這影響了他們聽力能力的提高。（4）高職高專學生聽力理解遇到最大的困難是對說話者隱含意義的推斷。...
