It adheres to the principle of the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis by the documentary method, the investigatory method, the systematic method and so on. The study elaborates the relation of regional higher education and regional economy. It major analyse the adaptability of the present regional higher education and the regional economy in Guangxi.And then,it raises the tactics that heighten the adaptability of the regional economy in Guangxi. Firstly, analyse the relation of regional higher education and regional economy. They have the relation that interact and promote each other. One the hand, the development of regional economy decides the development of regional higher education. It apply the material basis for the development of regional higher education. It decides fundamentally the develop scale, the speed, the special structure of discipline, the arrangemental structure and the layout structure of regional higher education. On the other hand, regional higher education counteract the regional economy. It’s development can promote or hinder the development of regional economy. Though the analysis, the study considers that the adaptability development is the inevitable selection by which the regional higher education can achieve continuous development.
