對外漢語教材中英語譯釋的研究
[Abstract]:The translation and interpretation of English in the textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language is of vital importance to some beginners of Chinese. Starting from the demand theory, this paper makes a questionnaire survey and interview on the actual users of English translation and interpretation in the textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language (international students from the School of International Cultural Exchange, Shanghai Foreign Studies University, hereinafter referred to as "upper and outer"). In order to study their needs for translation and interpretation of English and their satisfaction with the translation and interpretation of teaching materials. In this study, IPA (Importance-performanceAnalysis) model tools were used to analyze the data. The content of the questionnaire covers the background of foreign students (age, gender, nationality, grade and English level), the demand and satisfaction of foreign students for the accuracy of English translation and interpretation in teaching materials, and the students' satisfaction with new words. The demand and satisfaction of grammar translation and interpretation, the arrangement and satisfaction of new words and meanings, and the demand and satisfaction of foreign students for the translation and interpretation of words with cultural characteristics. The demand and satisfaction of foreign students to increase the translation and interpretation of other languages and the demand and satisfaction of foreign students for teachers' English proficiency and cross-cultural awareness. Through background analysis, this paper finds that Korean students account for 38% of the total number of students and 74% of the total number of students with proficiency in English and general English. Then the author focuses on several aspects of foreign students' dissatisfaction with English translation and interpretation of Chinese as a foreign language, such as the translation and interpretation of words with cultural characteristics and the increase of translation and interpretation of other languages, and so on. Through the analysis of IPA model, it is found that students' nationality and their English level are the real reasons behind their needs. For example, there is a strong demand for an increase in language translation and interpretation, which is especially needed by Japanese, Korean and non-English students. Finally, according to the results of investigation and analysis, this paper provides suggestions and measures for reference from the three angles of teaching materials, teaching and teachers in the School of International Exchange, Shanghai Foreign Studies University. The translation and interpretation of new words in textbooks need to increase the translation and interpretation of words with cultural characteristics as well as the translation and interpretation of other languages. It is suggested to divide classes according to the students' level of Chinese and English. If the students' proficiency in both languages is very low, they should be divided into classes according to their nationality and equipped with a teacher of Chinese as a foreign language who understands the language of the country and corresponding teaching materials. The teacher pays as much attention to the needs of the students as possible in teaching.
