【摘要】:在21世紀(jì)的今天,隨著中國(guó)與世界的聯(lián)系日益緊密,掌握好英語(yǔ)對(duì)于我們來(lái)說(shuō)變得尤為重要。閱讀,作為英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)四項(xiàng)基本技能中的重要組成部分,對(duì)于學(xué)生英語(yǔ)能力的提高起著至關(guān)重要的作用。但是,無(wú)論是社會(huì)、教師、家長(zhǎng)甚至是學(xué)生本人對(duì)英語(yǔ)課外閱讀都沒(méi)有清晰的認(rèn)識(shí),這種狀態(tài)會(huì)逐漸使學(xué)生失去對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的興趣和對(duì)獲取新知識(shí)的渴望,對(duì)學(xué)生的成長(zhǎng)產(chǎn)生極大負(fù)面影響。初中是青少年習(xí)慣養(yǎng)成的重要階段,在初中階段就注重提高學(xué)生的閱讀能力,提高學(xué)生英語(yǔ)水平是極為重要的。在閱讀相關(guān)文獻(xiàn)的基礎(chǔ)上,本研究通過(guò)運(yùn)用調(diào)查問(wèn)卷、訪談對(duì)武漢二中初中生課外閱讀情況的進(jìn)行調(diào)查。調(diào)查內(nèi)容主要為學(xué)生對(duì)課外英語(yǔ)閱讀的態(tài)度、課外閱讀材料的選擇、學(xué)生閱讀目的及數(shù)量、學(xué)生閱讀方法及策略、教師在學(xué)生課外閱讀過(guò)程中發(fā)揮的作用、學(xué)生課外閱讀的障礙六個(gè)方面。通過(guò)調(diào)查,本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)武漢二中的初中生的整體情況不容樂(lè)觀,主要存在的問(wèn)題表現(xiàn)為學(xué)生們課外英語(yǔ)閱讀量小、花在英語(yǔ)課外閱讀上的時(shí)間短、閱讀材料多局限于習(xí)題冊(cè)上英語(yǔ)閱讀、缺乏課外閱讀必要技巧、教師由于教學(xué)任務(wù)重未對(duì)學(xué)生的課外閱讀發(fā)揮促進(jìn)作用等問(wèn)題。針對(duì)調(diào)查中發(fā)現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題,本研究從教師、家庭、學(xué)生本身三個(gè)角度出發(fā)對(duì)改善學(xué)生英語(yǔ)課外閱讀提出了建議。教師自身要樹(shù)立終身閱讀、終身學(xué)習(xí)的觀念,增加自身課外閱讀量從而以身作則對(duì)學(xué)生課外閱讀發(fā)揮更積極的作用。此外,教師還應(yīng)該重視課外英語(yǔ)閱讀對(duì)學(xué)生綜合發(fā)展的作用,拋棄用分?jǐn)?shù)衡量一切的評(píng)價(jià)觀念。家長(zhǎng)也應(yīng)該重視營(yíng)造良好的家庭環(huán)境,為學(xué)生課外閱讀提高安靜適宜的外部環(huán)境。而學(xué)生作為這一過(guò)程的核心,更應(yīng)該發(fā)揮主動(dòng)性,在老師的幫助下,養(yǎng)成持之以恒進(jìn)行課外閱讀的習(xí)慣、自主選擇閱讀材料,自主閱讀,獨(dú)立思考,在課外閱讀中收獲成長(zhǎng)。通過(guò)對(duì)武漢二中初中生的課外閱讀情況進(jìn)行調(diào)查,本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)該校初中的英語(yǔ)課外閱讀情況不容樂(lè)觀,教師、家長(zhǎng)、應(yīng)該各盡其職改善,重視學(xué)生課外閱讀中出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題,為改善該校學(xué)生的課外閱讀現(xiàn)狀共同努力。
[Abstract]:In 21th century, as China became increasingly connected to the world, it became particularly important for us to master English. Reading, as an important part of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, is one of the four basic skills. However, the society, teachers, parents and even the students themselves do not have a clear understanding of English reading after class. This state of affairs will gradually make students lose their interest in English learning and their desire to acquire new knowledge, and will have a great negative impact on their growth. Junior middle school is an important stage for teenagers to form habits. It is very important to improve students' reading ability and improve their English proficiency in junior middle school. An interview was conducted to investigate the extracurricular reading of middle school students in Wuhan. The main contents of the investigation were students' attitude towards extra-curricular English reading, the choice of extracurricular reading materials, the students' reading purpose and quantity, the students' reading methods and strategies. The role of teachers in students' extracurricular reading process and the obstacles to students' extra-curricular reading. Through the investigation, this study finds that the overall situation of junior high school students in Wuhan No. 2 Middle School is not optimistic. The main problems are the small amount of extracurricular reading, the short time spent on reading out of class, the limited reading materials in the exercise book, and the lack of the necessary skills for extracurricular reading. Teachers do not play a role in promoting students' extracurricular reading due to their teaching tasks. In view of the problems found in the investigation, the present study focuses on teachers and families. The author puts forward some suggestions to improve students' English reading from three angles. Teachers should set up the concept of lifelong reading and lifelong learning. In addition, teachers should pay more attention to the role of extra-curricular English reading for students' comprehensive development. Parents should also pay attention to creating a good family environment, improve the quiet and suitable external environment for students' extracurricular reading. Students, as the core of this process, should play a more active role. With the help of teachers, we should develop the habit of persevering in extra-curricular reading, choosing reading materials independently, reading independently, thinking independently, and gaining growth in extra-curricular reading. This study finds that the situation of reading out of class in junior high school is not optimistic. Teachers and parents should do their best to improve the students' extracurricular reading problems and make joint efforts to improve the present situation of the students' extra-curricular reading.
