【摘要】:最近幾十年,對閱讀動機的研究與討論一直未間斷過。絕大多數(shù)關(guān)于閱讀動機的研究都是基于一語或是二語環(huán)境。然而在中國,英語是一門外語。在此研究背景下,學(xué)習(xí)者的英語閱讀動機現(xiàn)狀和影響因素或有所不同,這需要進一步的研究。本文的目的有三個。第一個是探尋初中生英語閱讀動機的現(xiàn)狀。第二個是研究初中生閱讀動機和閱讀成績的相關(guān)性。第三個也是最重要的是探討初中生閱讀動機的影響因素。本文采用定量的研究方法。成都某中學(xué)的90位七年級學(xué)生參與了本文的研究。研究數(shù)據(jù)來自這些學(xué)生所答的中文版閱讀動機問卷以及一次英語閱讀測試的成績。然后通過相關(guān)性分析得出了閱讀動機和閱讀成績的關(guān)系,再通過因子分析找出了影響初中生閱讀動機的主要因素。研究結(jié)果顯示初中生擁有較高的英語閱讀動機。同時,英語閱讀動機和閱讀成績存在正相關(guān)的關(guān)系。分析顯示強烈的閱讀動機可以提高學(xué)生的閱讀成績。通過因子分析,找到了影響初中學(xué)生英語閱讀動機的六個影響因子。在這些影響因子當(dāng)中,有四個顯得尤其重要。它們是:內(nèi)在動機、融合型動機、自我效能感和閱讀規(guī)避。由于研究背景的不同,影響學(xué)生的閱讀動機的因子有一些不同。本研究旨在為探討中國中學(xué)生的英語閱讀動機提供幫助。本研究結(jié)果表明,教師應(yīng)該通過增強學(xué)生的閱讀動機,幫助他們提高英語閱讀成績。
[Abstract]:In recent decades, the research and discussion on reading motivation has been uninterrupted. Most of the studies on reading motivation are based on one-language or two-language environment. However, in China, English is a foreign language. The present situation and influencing factors of learners' English reading motivation may be different. The purpose of this paper is to explore the current situation of junior high school students' English reading motivation. The second is to study the correlation between reading motivation and reading achievement of junior high school students. The third is also the most important. This paper uses a quantitative method. 90 seventh graders from a middle school in Chengdu participated in the study. The data are from the Chinese version of the Chinese version of reading motivation answered by these students. The results of the questionnaire and an English reading test. Then the relationship between reading motivation and reading achievement is obtained by correlation analysis. Through factor analysis, we find out the main factors that affect the reading motivation of junior high school students. The results show that junior high school students have higher English reading motivation. At the same time, There is a positive correlation between English reading motivation and reading achievement. The analysis shows that strong reading motivation can improve students' reading performance. In this paper, we find six factors that influence the English reading motivation of junior high school students. Among these factors, four are especially important. They are intrinsic motivation, fusion motivation, and so on. Self-efficacy and reading aversion. There are some differences in factors that affect students' reading motivation due to different backgrounds. This study aims to help Chinese middle school students to explore their English reading motivation. Teachers should help students improve their reading performance by enhancing their reading motivation.
